Taking into account that the only part invaded is the South, if I’m not mistaken. The MC still keeps his lands and titles, and the influence and power increase depending on the stats. As I said, a very good one would create turrets like in They Are Billions, plus more weaponry, strategies, etc. His power and influence would already transcend his titles given how important his skills are for survival on the island.

Easily, in the character creator, I wrote: By the Holy Trinity!, you must be Lancelot of the Lake reborn, or whence such strength… Pray, do not set your charms upon the king’s lady. Basically, he is very strong, and if combined with the other stats, he could defeat a Squad of 12 men with just a saber.

I’m glad you enjoyed the Marques route. And to be honest, I hadn’t thought about the subject of flashbacks, but I can see how some would add not only context, but would explain some things and give more development to the Mc’s relationships with his friends and family. I generally hate flashbacks. I feel that they are story or plot cutters, but well introduced they can be great. Thanks for the idea!

So basically, the MC family titles themselves as royalty and kings. Since when did they change it? Looks like the MC family could title themselves as archduke or grand duke if they want to… like they change their minds, and the crown would let them due to the treaty of autonomy.

They changed it quite recently, but before the MC was born. The MC dynasty does not hold the rank of archduke, since an MC of that rank would not associate with Bingley or Darcy, nor would he marry the ROs. Furthermore, it suited the London monarchy perfectly that the red dragons were stripped of their title, giving more legitimacy to the English crown.

I was talking about MC changing his mind and then saying, ‘I want to be an archduke instead of a Marquess,’ and the crown would just be irked, but they would reluctantly go along with it so MC’s house remained pacified.

Oh, I see. Yes, it would not please the regent hanover at all, but a marquis with good stats can get around that. He could even make a claim for his old territories to the southeast and claim the vassalage or its integration into the archduchy.
