I am of the generation whose mind was blown the day Sugarcane Island in 1976 out-shown all others at the annual Scholastic Book Fair. I have ever since been fascinated by interactive and immersive media, turning my interests into my life’s work. My fourth book comes out in May, 2025, about Stephen Sondheim and his love of game and puzzle design. This is my first time writing interactive fiction (that is, first time in 1981…).
