Salutations!

Whenever I write an “About” page, I invariably end up trying and failing to be witty and just list several aspects about me instead. So… I might as well stick with the pattern!

The best place to start is probably my username. I jealously claim it wherever I go and use the same avatar. I love wolves (and tigers! and lycaons! and dolphins! and… you get the idea ), space, and literature, so “AstralHunter” is the perfect way of combining all that I adore. I especially enjoy fantasy fiction, so really, I can’t ask for anything better.

As for me, I’m analytical and pedantic, which is why I’m currently pursuing a career in biochemistry. However, I’m also defiant and contrarian, which makes the aforementioned statement paradoxical and somewhat amusing. This duality is present in essentially all facets of my identity — I mean, I’m also lawful and honourable? I know who and what I am, but lables are immensely useful in conveying information more succinctly.

So! Here are some lables for you: cisgender male, demisexual/biromantic, polyamorous, therianthropophilic (i.e. “furry”), INFJ (MBTI), Counsellor (KTS), Type 1w2 (Enneagram), Cancer in Sun, Scorpio in Moon, Leo in Mercury, Leo in Venus, and Libra in Mars. Oh, and ginger! Can’t forget that one.

I’m on the site because it’s a valuable resource for writing and just understanding people better in general, but I’m always happy to chat with those who want to.
