Mythic
You find yourself in a dark place. You look down to see your own body, but see nothing. In fact, you don’t feel your body. You look around and see rifts, as if someone had cut through space itself. Within one of these rifts, you can see something. You approach and see a city in a spiral shape, strange things happening within it. Several spirals appear out of nowhere, and like black holes, they engulf or transform any surface they appear on.
You step back and approach another rift. This one is different. You see a war. You realize this war seems a bit one-sided. On one side are humans, 12 humans more specifically, or at least that’s what it seems. You notice one of them holding a trident. Surely they don’t plan to use that in a real battle… Right? As you’re about to look away, you notice something strange from the corner of your eye. It seemed like a small electric current emanating from the body of one of these humans. You look at them but notice nothing peculiar. On the other side are beings as large as cities. They don’t seem to notice your presence or even recognize the existence of the rift.
You step away from the rift and look around once more. Countless rifts fill the void where you are. So many stories, myths, legends, worlds so different from each other. All of this in your hands. But before you explore, what should you call yourself? Hmm… Stories… Fantasies… Myths… Mythic? Mythic!
