@Razgriz, The quality of the jail throughout the United States varies tremendously and while your statement rings true for some facilities in some locations, that truth is far from universal. Overall there is a rather worrisome trend of converting more and more of them to so called “supermax” facilities that are filthy (usually because of overcrowding and insufficient budgets), dehumanising and above all very dangerous (mostly on account of the prison gang and inadequately trained personnel who are not trained to deal with the increasing numbers of prisoners with mental problems ).
Woe betide any of us folks who don’t do body-building, mma or other martial arts as part of our hobbies or our livelihoods should we end up in one of these fine facilities because the chances of coming out physically and mentally unscathed (let alone a “better person”) are practically zero.

@JimD Do you think that the game will be long ? Cause I really want it to be long since I loved zombie exodus I am sure safe haven will be even better. And also don’t you think that , since you plan to make a lot of choices available in the game. That it will become like telltale games games. A lot of fake choices. Cause I really like the idea of having a lot of choices. But if these choices are mostly fake or all lead to the same thing I know I wouldn’t really like it.

I would love to see this in several parts with each one having a distinct subplot but connected with a grand plot.
@Demonarke it will be at least 400k words, so pretty long. I don’t really like fake choices but use them to simplify some parts that lead to one destination but alter stats, like dialogue options. I hope to give a lot of choices with impact.

I love it-- just one thing. If you do the Police playthrough, once it asks what weapon you own, shouldn’t a semi-auto .40 caliber handgun be a choice, considering that’s what is being used by modern police officers?
I went through with a pet and a little boy. The pet switched genders from female to male when the zombie banged on my door and my nephew somehow teleported home after I called to check on him and didn’t get an answer.
First, big fan of you and this game in particular. However, I’ve been playing as a custom profession with customized stats, and once I get home I’m put in a perpetual loop.
See, I can narrow down all my choices to this:
-Check online for news on the viral outbreak and the government’s response.
-Setup reinforcements to protect your home. (requires crafting 45+)
-Eat and drink to restore energy.
Now, I’ve down the first and third, and I cannot do the second. I have a suspicion that it may have something to do with my dependent child, for after every choice I am constantly having to call my sister–even after completing the action in both my independent choices and his insistence.
Furthermore, I also note that I eat several meals (to pass time as though to force something to happen) and when I do, the amount of food I have is not alerted. I’ve reached the time 24:15, so I’m going to go ahead and say this loop is permanent.
