I love this! I really enjoy playing a military officer who lives out in the country with his dog and nephew ^.^ it seemed like a very real scenario. At least for the people. Iâm not certain about the science behind these zombies yet but donât worry I usually just take zombies for zombies and donât dig any deeper. Usually ruins the fun if I do that.
@poison_mara I never meant to suggest people go âevilâ when they kill, but they do degrade in mental health. Many soldiers have PTSD, at least those on the front lines.
@poison_mara No offense but saying you studied law doesnât really give you much credibility when talking about mental illness. All lawyers really care about when it comes to psychology is whether or not they can get the insanity defense to lower the sentence. âInsanityâ has no psychological definition. Itâs purely a legal term. You really canât see how killing another human being could be traumatic to the killer?
@Shoelip You donât understand my point people, of course, change when kills someone. But that doesnât become mad an ill person. Madness in legal terms means the capacity of knowing if something is good or bad, note the difference understand the burden of your actions. Many people say easily killers are all mad, but that is certainly false and in my opinion that tries to make the butchers the victims. If you kill your brotherâs cold blood for heir more money, you are a bad person yes, but not mad.
How does suggesting that someone who kills another person is mentally ill making the killer the victim? They still killed someone. The dead person is still the victim, although itâs the people who loved that person who are the ones who actually suffer for it.

Well, in my country there is not a life sentence so he was released a year before due his personal situation long story short he raped another woman the next Saturday. Itâs a typical thing here, try to justify killers due abused drugs, they suffered x as a child. Treat them as ill people.

I was thinking of more like the walking dead series.
Since your customization is so awesome in this game you can make several shorter stories and then tie them together which will make your work easier and you can launch a game maybe every 4-6 months. I could be talking crap though since I am neither a writer nor a programmer.
I think with all of the professions the replay value will be very very high.
@Mara Youâre using âmadâ to mean âcackling lunatic with no moralsâ, which is not actually what that means. And yeah, a lot of soldiers go mad - itâs called Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
@poison_mara That sounds like the exact opposite end of the spectrum from the problems we have in the US. I donât understand the reasoning behind that at all. If he was convicted of these crimes heâs obviously a major threat to other people. Did they just not give a shit? I mean, did they actually treat him as mentally ill and try to treat him and think they had, but it turned out they hadnât? Or did they just say, âOh well, heâs an obvious threat to society, but heâs not responsible for his own actions because heâs crazy so letâs just let him keep being a threatâ?
@jcury Of course the problem with TWD is that most of your choices barely mattered, and part of that probably had a something to do with the need to have a self contained arc in each episode.

I didnât think our laws (USA) were very effective. Jail, while not a five star hotel, is still a place youâll be fed,sheltered,clothed,given access to TV and access to being able to work out. So alot criminals will go back because their life on the outside wasnât worth it. Also when it comes to insanity and youâre starting to kill people left and right and would continue to even after rehab and such then the death penalty should be used. Not alot of people like that though,even then the conâs sentence will be delayed year after year,because itâs the dirty and brutal truth,some people canât be helped. someone will get upset about it though and Throw fit. I remember a man named John Wayne Gacey whoâs crimes I will not speak of on here. But he was on death row for sixteen years. End rant. I think we should continue this on a different thread since it doesnât seem to have too much to do with Jimâs game.

@Razgriz thanks. I am making the science background really science-y. I figure if someone wants to take that part, they want it to be technical. But there are numerous other âclassesâ for those who want other options.
@jcury Iâm not sure how I want to publish it yet. I like the idea of episodes like WayWalkers and Demon Hunter but also find Tin Starâs epic nature very appealing. I may leave the decision to CoG if they have an opinion.

I know he said it will probably be over at the end of the year. But I think saying that I am eager to play his game is a compliment isnât it ?
Thereâs no need to insult me. Itâs considered rude to ask an author to come up with an estimated date of completion. While it is great that you are eager for the game to be completed, the rule is there so authors arenât pressured into writing faster.
@God_of_Demonz Oh well I apologize. It wasnât any of my attention to pressure him into writing faster. I just wanted to tell him in a friendly way. When will the game be out. and then give him a compliment by telling him that I am really eager that the game come out. Sorry itâs my fault. Well now you know @jimD that I really love your work
