Sorry I mean Persuasion 55*. Good catch! I’m pretty sure intimidation and/or leadership take place with the other choices, since I imagine its hard to be intimidating whilst also being cautious and peaceful.

Maybe you should consider having more options for the ruthless kind of character - like to execute lyle and jillian for their betrayal or even an option where you dont even speak to the just pop you head out a window shoot them and then loot them. Or the man who is being chased by zombie carrying a handgun a good option there would be to shoot the man and then while the zombies are eating him shoot them to and loot him or in the rural area when those guys rob the people passing through you could kill all them and taking everything (the rednecks weapons and everything in the car) I would suggest the same with the girl who asks to ally with you but that may effect your plans if she will be a main character. I understand im going on a bit but to summarise more options to rob and betray if it does not affect the story like not main characters.

When you find out that Lyle and Jillian are stealing your gear, or just to decide to kick them out, you have the option to kill them.
You can kill the man being chased by Zombies (Dante), by either letting the Zombies attack him and then killing him, or killing him after you kill the Zombies.

Eliminating Rachel and looting her would be easy. She isn’t even armed.

Oh, and we should do our best to destroy the brains of every human we kill. One less zombie to deal with, eh?

The virus here isn’t like The Walking Dead’s. You have to be bitten for reanimation to occur. It’s the only way the virus can be transmitted in Jim’s 'verse.

But, in the city, we can destroy the ex-survivors’ brains, even if we killed them. They weren’t even bitten yet, nor did they come into contact with infected blood/saliva, right? One of them was shot in the stomach, and the other… is dependent on the player’s choices.

I kinda thought they’d come back as zombies since we’ve the option to destroy their brains.

Honestly, I think it might attribute to paranoia more than anything. Misinformation is one hell of thing. The one thing I do know is that Jim had confirmed how it spread a few months back. Let me dig it up…

can you loot his handgun? my mistake i suppose but the point still stands it would be a nice way to pass the time sitting by the window and shooting anyone who walks by for loot :grinning:

River, Starr, Carl, Dave, Javier, Emma, Heather, Candace, Mindy, Tom, Uncle Lou, Jason, Devlin, Eugene, Kelly, Crone, Toby, and Badger.

No I mean 55. Custom character - charisma 50, persuasion 3, show stats, review skills = persuasion 55

Since it’s a bite I’m assuming it has to be transmitted through saliva, meaning it could also happen if a zombie simply drools into your mouth or an open wound which likely could happen in a hand-to-hand encounter.

Though it also makes me ask whether it would get transmitted through blood or other forms. I would be careful when destroying any heads in case blood splatters in me.

I think it spreads something more like the HI virus, in that it requires significant fluid exposure to transmit: ingestion wouldn’t do much to you, unless you had stomach ulcers, or really back mouth ulcers. This is just based off what I remember from the scientist path in ZE. Ofcourse it could just be explained away by there being massive concentrations of the virus in the mouth of the zombie, which is why you need to have contact with that region to be infected. I’ll need to make another scientist playthrough of ZE to be sure on this.

That 25k is a big bonus, and I plan to change the store prices soon. It won’t be as big a bonus after that. Also money will be used in other ways soon.

I have added quite a lot, though at this stage of the outbreak, being a complete psychopath is not possible. You can kill a majority of NPCs so far and loot most.

With the Paynes, odds are not in your favor and they are technically your friendly neighbors so I didn’t think killing them was realistic.

@NJG Some NPCs are off limits for now. Writing NPCs who may or may not be in a group AND make them have distinct impact and personalities is very time consuming.

Okay, forgive me for being unforgivably lazy, but I really don’t want to dig through ~4000 posts to see if my question is addressed.

I swear I played a demo of this when I first finished ZE wherein you go to the high school and have to save your buddy and the two siblings from the party in the high school intro, and you kill people inside the high school…I actually remember it pretty clearly

Did I hallucinate this or have you changed the game a lot? I honestly wouldn’t surprised if I did dream it, or something, since a few of my medications give me incredibly vivid dreams.
