Evil playthrough are pretty hard to do, and when you do it doesn’t feel like there are that many evil options. When I did my evil playthrough I was hoping that there was a feature that would lead to me being kicked from the leader position and/or out of the group. Or maybe be killed if your character refuses, leading to a secret achievement or two.
You can do a lot of pretty evil things, but not to the extent where the entire plot gets derailed
Hey Jim. Love your game.
I would like to make a suggestion. I noticed that Part 3 doesn’t have any achievements unlike Part 1 & 2. Because of the amount of content Part 3 has, it would be nice it had them. That way, it can give me an idea of what content I had missed in my playthrough.
He said it’s a future plan of his to redo the achievement system, shrink the point totals and rework the existing ones so he can add new ones
Noticed a usage issue in part 3 during my recent playthrough. Lighters 0 out every report from Rachel. I spoofed 500 lighters to test, and it went to 0, so my crew was losing 500 lighters a week. As a smoker, I lose many lighters, but…
Maybe someone is making a really expressive flame thrower?
Was playing the demo and noticed an opportunity for character development. In chapter 13 when looting the cache, Monica takes a katana, could be an opportunity for a katana wielding MC to bond with her, by either offering, or having Monica ask MC to teach her. As she’s a new RO, she’s got a lot of catch up to do with earlier ROs. Could be an option for a medic MC to bond with Allison over medical training. I’m sure there are options for the other new ROs also. Just a thought.
If we pick the military job are we special forces or a normal soldier
Off my memory you get three choices off that one is combat medic another is a commander and i think the last is combat grunt oriented if i remeber correctly lol
You can also go to Custom Occupation, select that your custom job is Military and input a job title (ex. Navy SEAL) from there.
But than it talks about the army
Army has a decent crop of spec ops guys, the Rangers, Delta force, etc.
I know I just wish it did it like zombie exodus
The Military MC is Army and seems to be, from all available evidence, a part of (a probably fictionalized version of) either the 10th Mountain (matches the language used better) or the 4th Infantry (matches location better), that for some reason, has a battalion that ended up at an air station that got BRACed years ago and isn’t even owned by the military, let alone the Army proper.
Either way, classic ground pounders, not special forces of any kind (probably with mountain warfare training tho).
Judging from the Colorado story setting, the linked Wikipedia article, and the use of the term “Mountain Warriors” in the military email in Safe Haven Chapter 1, it looks like Military MCs likely are part of the U.S Army 4th Infantry Division, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team (Mountain Warrior.) The 4th Infantry are based at Fort Carson, Colorado.
More specifically, Military MCs are likely part of either the 12th or 41st Infantry Regiment in the Mountain Warrior Brigade Combat Team, as the MC will state they are in the Army Infantry when Silfer and other characters ask.
Small question guys, Part 4 beta is the full part 4 or just half or part of it ? : ) !!! thank you in advance
The whole thing hasn’t been written yet
I see, its big enough to play the whole game again for it, or would you recomend to wait ?
Last i played it was big enough to check out the demo of part four.
Yes, this is something I definitely want to add.
It’s basically what @Sujan_Dhakal answered. I can’t have a situation where you are kicked out of the group, or it would be an entirely different game from that point on. You can do lots of MRO things in this game, but they are to groups or survivors outside the main group.
Thank you! I do intend to add some achievements. I hit the limit based on what I could use, but another writer gave me a workaround. So I’m going to add some more achievements.
I will definitely check into that. Thank you for letting me know.
That’s a great idea. I will work it in.
The demo is over 600,000 words already. That doesn’t include all of the code. But it needs to be polished. If you are looking for a very polished game, I would wait. It’s looking like this part is going to hit at least 800,000 words.
