Quick question here since we know Jaimie is Changing (evil) probably due to the apocalypse, So lets say he was the leader in Part 2 and 3 and then in Part 4 the MC gets elected as leader. Could this Perhaps cause future problems between Jaimie and the MC, cause he’s role is taken from him, which may cause Jaimie getting angry and feeling probably resentment towards the MC. This could most likely get interesting. @JimD
Jaimie is gonna turn into a Shane Walsh? That’s unfortunate. He was a cool dude.
if you have the challenge of dependent child when you choosse to teach that child at a cewrtain point it errors and causes you to have to restart everything

Hey any of you guys know who will be the new RO’s?
Alison, August, Anders, Monica
Can you play the pregnancy content if Jillian is the secondary RO?
From my experience yes
I wouldn’t be shocked to see Elsie added to this list. She’s a popular request, according to JimD.
A thought on new structures for the junkyard. One option could be a simple blockhouse/fortified machine gun nest protecting the front gate, though a lot of/new materials could be required.
Bitter experience can show that the gate is a weak spot in the junkyard’s potential defenses. The watchtower south can definitely help, but positioning a strongpoint adjacent, not blocking the gates, could help even more.
I’m just picturing an armored bandit truck or a zombie horde charging the gates, and trying to think of ways to stop it. A fortified machine gun nest (50 cal, preferably) seemed the most plausible way.
Thoughts?
I would prefer keeping the 50cal on the jeep, so it’s mobile. Also, I wouldn’t put a hard defense point outside the perimeter. Leaves potential for assets being cut off from retreat, with a high caliber weapon that could blow the junkyard walls to shreds, and a hard point of cover for any aggressors, if the bunker had to be abandoned.
How about just inside the fence perimeter then? Say, cut a firing slit in one (or both) of the shipping containers near the junkyard gate just inside the fence. Then reinforce the container so it’s as bullet resistant/durable as possible.
Stick a lighter 30 cal (7.62mm) machine gun in there so it can cover the main road leading into the junkyard under most circumstances, but in the worst case, a machine gun team or one strong person can dismount the weapon and retreat. All still inside the fence perimeter.
Heck, even without the machine gun, an extra covered firing position would help in defense.
The gate might be the weakest point, but the surrounding walls of the Junkyard ain’t that tough either, just a tad bit better, so if an armored truck come barrelling into the base, they have more spot to ram than just the gate (Except the side of the Junkyard that is surrounded by the forest, I doubt anyone can bring a truck through the woods)
Instead of just reinforcing the gate, maybe have the trenches around the junkyard can be deeper, so that any vehivles that try crashing would just crash into the trench. And also to build some fortification on the road leading into the Junkyard so that it became a zig zag road to enter through the gate. You have to drive slow to go through, and can’t ram directly into the gate
I think the two trenches cover the walls from most of the threats to the fence itself, and the road could be more easily covered with scrap metal dragon’s teeth to slow vehicles. Having the 50cal on the jeep keeps it mobile. You can pull the jeep outside the gate, lay down suppressing fire that would cut anything short of an Abrams to pieces before they could move the dragon’s teeth to even get at the gate. Then you can safely move the jeep and the weapon back behind the fence.
Ah, so the zig zag walls are called Dragon’s teeth, now I know
The existing watch tower, perimeter alarm, reinforced fence, spiked barricade, and trench options all provide good protection for the junkyard already, especially when combined.
I was mostly thinking of new protective structures on top of that, and new covered firing points, machine gun or otherwise, would help.
I have no issue with keeping the 50 cal on the jeep and mobile. Dragon’s teeth could work, as long as they don’t interfere with our group getting in and out of the junkyard.
Just for the record, while a 50 cal fires a very powerful round (12.7mm * 99mm,) other US armored vehicles were built with the 50 in mind. The Stryker’s bolt-on armor is built to withstand more powerful 14.5 mm * 127mm rounds, and the M2A2 Bradley’s armor is built to withstand 30 mm armor-piercing rounds. The 50 will shred any civilian vehicle or Humvee, but modern armor? Not so much.
I still think that Rachel’s hiding a lot of things.
Have thought the same myself. I question if Vince is her cousin, seems odd for internationally distant cousins would be close. I think Vince is more likely a lover, target, asset, or even all three. People who work in black ops, tend towards deception, and honestly, we’re unlikely to find out.
