Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven General Discussion (Part 3 beta coming in December)

I’m way more wary of Goodman and his “New Army” bullshit than some rinky dink militia operating out of a FEMA camp, personally.

Waste of human life I think, the people who operate on the base can clearly self-sustain and survive so if they are survivors they can help build infrastructure. She seems opposed to the needless waste of human lives. Rebuild the world not just focus on our group type of thing.

Ahh. Do to nitpicking I haven’t seen most of the new content yet, leading to me overestimating the river dogs. It seems I need to do a more in depth exploration before I consider any solutions to the silverthorne militia.

That sounds more like Jaime to me, Rachel has no problem with treating people like they’re the enemy until proven otherwise not to mention she was very selective about who she wanted in her group based off of their skills and how they contribute to the groups survival. While Jaime, wants to help everyone and anyone and was naïve enough to believe that the Silverthornes saved Kelly out of kindness. (Even though, he spent the first few days of the outbreak with a man who was robbing and killing people)

Just a small part from my crafting training session with Parker. Seems I picked the right man for the job.

You find Parker is actually adept when it comes to the industrial arts. He smiles. “I worked in a museum. We sometimes had to put up and take down displays. It always went faster when we pitched in.”

Naturally, yes, it’s not going to that simple. I was just trying to get a read on how people view them and based off the results there, most players see them as the enemy. I see them as allies most of the time.

So we should train him in crafting? Too bad most of my MCs suck at that… Actually none of them have higher skill level in crafting than 2 so yeah, small correction: all my MCs suck at that.

Well… because the Silverthorne had took the first strike, and in one occasion… Keith also grab hold of me as hostage when i ask him to stand down … hence there will forever be my enemy

I won’t naively try to attack them. but will seek to ambush or snipe them whenever possible, since they declare either we join them or we will have to fight them, fine by me… i am bad at making someone enemy , but i will be more than happy if the enemy make up their mind on making me an enemy :-)

Actually i think the best person to craft is either Woody or Gina, if i am not mistaken , their crafting skill is 5 …

Really? You don’t look for a peaceful solution here? I’m surprised.

Edit: I know they are the best. The question was what we could teach Parker to make him useful. Unfortunately we can’t assign other survivors to teach him or anyone else otherwise I’d dump the job on those two.

I tried to look for a peaceful solution … but they rejected my suggestion and i thought Keith made it clear that it is either his way or the highway right ? In such case , there isn’t any more purpose to pursue a peaceful solution since the other party already declare its intention

That’s the reason why i mention i am happy when someone else make the decision for me , so that i don’t have to ponder the alternative of a solution , for example… if Keith said "I will go back and discuss with others " , or " i will think about it "… he will ultimately convince me that there might be hope for peace … but as it turn out , the line had cross … hence what else could i had done ? This is similar like the case when the Hegemony already starts their offence on my rebel in Choice of Rebels

If we manage to defeat the Silverthorne and they beg for mercy, that’s a different story … perhaps i might consider their surrender in the future … But trusting Keith will still be difficult , how about allowing Keith to continue leading the SIlverthorne in a different area but now they become our sub-division and must answer to our call ? :-) that will look nice if we have a sub-division of our force … especially my group is called “New Prophets” , hence it is only mandate that Silverthorne will be my first converted followers ??

Then again , if the situation is dreaded , retreating to a new safe haven may be the priority …

Would you really believe if someone like Keith says he will be your subordinate? He already stated very clear that he does not think ethic rules exist anymore, I think I just could not trust him, or his nearest companions. With a different leader this might work, but I would trust Keith only so far, as I could throw him and none of my MC´s is really into strength^^

With Keith i will be bluntly sincere is an adult game. He thinks with the penis. Not only easy sexual concept. In the sense of being driven by Testosterone and his dark desire of being alpha male like return t humanity to an animal level I think a supposed submissive partner can manipulate him an emotional level through sex . However he is volatile and far to gone to be stable and control anything for many time he is pure chaos.

Canon Mara will infiltrate him seduce him make his men hate him and sabotage him to end or with men for our group or group enough sabotaged to be neutralized.

Keith is a pain that would never do anything goo for anyone except himself.

I will give him a chance to betray me again
Or a chance to truthfully bow to me …

If he really bow to me sincerely, i am happy to gain an ally for the force of good…

If he betray me… then i will be able to kill him without remorse :-) i always prefer to allow the opposition to make the first move , so that my judgement won’t be clouded

Lol. Then I guess you should ask him to train you.:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I assume bad intentions if anyone approaches my camp with anything more than a single envoy, ideally unarmed and waving a flag of truce. Much less a heavily armed group. That was Keith’s first and last mistake with me.

Honestly with me, they made a huge mistake putting a gun on my nephew.

Everyone that is involved with SM is going to be killed off, their home razed to the ground and all of their resources either taken or destroyed. Gonna be forcing Keith to watch the whole thing first with crushed elbows, hands and kneecaps.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. :ok_hand:

@JimD Since there will be a time skip in part 3 I assume we will get a choice about which skills our MCs trained themselfes in during that time and I wonder if we will get a similar choice about what the other survivors learned? Since we got to train them in part 2 I guess it’d make sense that MC trained other survivors too during that time?

It seems clear to me that Keith is a clear and present existential threat to everything that is good in the world. I tend to play as people with morals and humanity intact in the ZE games.

If I can, I want to bring him down. If I can’t, then I’ll just have to secure my group’s safety.

I guess that will be one hell of an epic battle to fight if the Silverthorne dbags do bring a fight. Plus this outnumbering enemy reminds me of Mad Max fury road for some reason
