Here’s an idea for consideration; surrender and join Keith!

Was wonderingIs there a way to capturing Mara’s group without any casualties on our groups side I’m doing a new playthrough and was just wondering. Any help would be vastly appreciated

Nah I know I just remember reading in an earlier thread don’t remember when that it was possible to do that.
I wasn’t aware Mara was an actual character I must’ve missed that big time.
I think that was my bad but it was Kieth’s group and in the showdown it could result in taking one of his members hostage and the death of one of the others. Last time I did that I got two group members killed I think my stats were wrong. Sorry about the mix up I guess my question should have been about Kieth’s group

Church always dies on my playthroughs if I open fire, wasn’t aware someone else could die.
Persuasion (and possibly leadership?) can enable you to have everyone stand down and leave IIRC, which results in Reilly and a couple others capturing Benton. There are probably other ways (intimidation) but I’m just speaking from experience.
Otherwise if you open fire Church pretty much always dies. It could be averted if you take down two members of the Silverthornes but I’ve never managed to so I wouldn’t know 
Church was one but I somehow got Bailey killed in my doctor playthrough. In my police playthrough I got them to leave as I didn’t want to take the risk and my leadership was a 5 but I also had a ranged of 5 as well and was wondering if I could take them without any casualties if nothing else than for fun.
Try the overpowering Keith option you’ll need a high level ranged weapon or close combat weapon skill (6-7) not sure about 5 and keep fighters hiding in the trees to step in if need be. I don’t think you’ll be able to kill them (sadly). But you will earn Keith’s respect he’ll say he underestimated you and he’ll say think his offer and leave. Until that fool Reilly messes it up.
Level 5 (or even 4) in most skills works fine as long as you have the Strength, Dexterity, etc, to back it up!
Nice I’ll give it a shot. Any idea if the weapon you use could impact the success and if Church will walk out alive.
Police should have that I think I think with his Dexterity puts ranged at about 80%
Or Military, if you want to make him bleed a little, I recommend putting a sword against his throat that way you nick him with it and let him know you could have slit his throat.
Heh I’d get a little more satisfaction from that and my main playthrough keeps a cavalry Sabre as my backup
I’m sorry but I’m still cracking about you saying you wanted to capture Poison_Mara’s group.
Because now I’m imagining her being some boss we later have to fight.
