Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven General Discussion (Part 3 beta coming in December)

There is only a truly villain in the series Mara. The rest are pretenders.

Of course people expect the spy to stab you in the back instead of keeping an eye on the “best friend”.

Did you really expect her to ? Yeah it was nice of her to reveal the fact that she was a spy but I’m not mad that she kept it hidden from us or surprised that she didn’t tell us everything since at the time she had no obligation or real reason to do so. Also have you or have you not killed Woody ? If so aren’t you a little quick to judge Rachel about keeping secrets when you killed his cousin and possibly others and haven’t come forward with that.

I’m guessing she recognized our abilities early on and wanted to harness it for her own group.

Rachel doesn’t have a problem with an MC being a murderer or a criminal she sees value in having someone with that skillset (which there is.)

Yeah that’s likely one possible scenario but isn’t it too early not to trust her ,I mean she was suspicious but after that confession I really doubt she will betray us . What is her end game for betraying us and the group?? Everyone needs everyone in the group

My teen mc is a tech hacker in one of the playthrough and he discovered what the government was doing. And Vincent was also part of it since he being in CDC .So there is a chance she knows but doesn’t want to freak everyone out , tensions are already high but if the z virus couldn’t be cured or something like that then it may result in drop in morale of the group, another thing is she doesn’t know the mc or the group much enough to reveal her secrets .But I really doubt she is hiding anything because my con artist mc has high empathy and couldn’t detect any lie in her confession

Or neither of them ?? In the previous game we were betrayed by Heather’s brother but that’s because he feared us taking over his position .But here I’m pretty sure there is nothing to fear because we are in the middle of nowhere unlike the first part where we had a fort .

SHE does though if the mc tries to murder any one of the survivors namely Bailey she would be concerned about her and the mc trying to kill her.

Or they might be the ones ,the couple who were murdered in the camp site met?? Because in the girls journal she mentions that they met an older guy who looked like santa and a younger guy who was bit sick. That description fits the markovs.

Keith and the Silverthornes don’t see themselves as the villains, though. They see the killing of the “weak” as a mercy, and Keith might even justify kidnapping Kelly as the “natural order” or “his right”. In Keith’s worldview, a strong, opposing MC group are the “villains” for not submitting to his rule and for killing his best troops. Never mind that the latter was justified self-defense.

You can see a slight similarity between Keith and Neegan from walking dead.

First of all that church wasn’t a fort it was a magnet that attracted death and misery. I thought it was the shadiest and creepiest place we could’ve ended up at. Two, you do know that we are going to be moving to a junkyard and possibly someplace better and this is temporary so that could change right ?

Now we just need Alpha& Beta from the Whisperers, the hunters(cannibals) and the Governor

I don’t kill Woody… I let nature following it course and thankfully he normally dies if not i just never talk to him and use him as working force.

I don’t trust anyone in group really. as we aren’t in a safe place and people didn’t assume the situation yet. Then we have kelly Jelly and fossil in the group both can destroy our group easily. One let enter Godzilla to eat us because look what cute gecko i found. The other would sell us for a dose of insulin and a water bottle.

I know the situation can change, what I meant to say was there will or might be betrayal but from Jamie or Rachel is very low or unlikely ,unless mc decides to pit them again each other or does something unforgivable to either one of them.

I pit against each other of course. As that choice was suggested by me. To avoiding any of them trying to undermine my power as both are dangerous more if they are friends. As i can’t stop saying character behaviour is not static. Saying they won’t do a thing is likely conduct to a big error.

That in your playthroughs everyone is loyal and happy. Doesn’t mean for others there is paranoia betrayals and power struggles. I personally end mortal bored, If all is sugary and everyone love each other. i need action and drama.

I don’t know if anyone has noticed this but if you start out as a bank robber I think it’s the only prologue featuring another survivor in your group.

It is safe to say that in the future Bailey will probably get some more content. Even with the content that was in part 2-2, there was still a limit which could be done.

Additionally, I know some content was moved to part 3 where it would make better sense to use it (such as one mission I worked on around the 20,000 word mark).

Um… I was saying everyone who has survived has some form of trauma that will haunt them until they die and will probably experience more traumatic events as time goes on. Not that they’d be electing their pet as leader :expressionless::no_mouth:

This is true for content I worked on as well; although I am unsure on word count … the development of npc characters is one of the constant concerns of Jim, so I do not think any of you have to worry about characters becoming stale.

There are some really neat characters you’ll be (re)introduced to in part 3 that I am looking forward to.

My dream is a damn ro that is evil and a raider. I understand why is none. I mean time is limited and goodies want romance goodies so is logic 99% focus is on them. But poor Mara without no one to romance. Because all romance options are like worst for her. Topoint she get aroused by Keith because at least is no so damn goody like rest of gang.

My hope is in this next part @JimD @Lys @Eiwynn and other elves working on game can take a small moment to let raising a raiding group like real raiding no OH MY GOOD YOU ARE RAIDING…
I need someone with common sense right now. lol. A total unanimity vote for raiding… nobody seems to remember it…

No one has ever pointed a finger at jill because well she’s not really a trouble maker, she didn’t indirectly cause your only medic in the team to become animals food  nor she insists going on a mission just to be shot near death for her trouble

That girl got a survival instinct, can’t say the same about the other two.
