Has anyone else noticed how Maddison and Jillian kind of keep talking shit about Tommy and use him as an example of how they don’t want to be or don’t want to act like him ? It’s an interesting way to show what the survivors think of each other. Even though I think they’re judging Tommy pretty harshly.
I don’t because I thought you needed a greater understanding of science as well as the virus itself to experiment with the virus. I don’t know if it’s possible to have a better medical skill than a science skill and still be successful.
I think science is more important for creating vaccine but in order to get the samples from the zombies you need medicine bit higher so that you can properly extract it
Well Tommy is bit confused but unlike Reilly he doesn’t outright insults or looks down upon us if you are playing as a teen.True but they are not wrong though,he is the one who is showing the signs of apocalypse affecting him openly.
It maybe true but it doesn’t mean they need to attribute his behavior as being more emotionally unstable than anyone else or as a negative because he’s actually showing his true feelings in the presence of others and they’re the type that don’t.
Yeah, it is quite interesting. Not surprising, considering the effects of the apocalypse are rather visible on him.
And the judgement is most definitely too harsh. Madison’s is seen as hypocrticial, considering she can be just as cynical, grumpy and moody as Tommy. Jillian saying that he has “issues” is pretty amusing considering the problems that she has. Seriously, when it comes to people it’s like dealing with a baby who hasn’t learnt object permanence yet-once they leave her sight, they instantly “betrayed” her and want nothing to do with them. This raises questions about her loyalty, as any small action of abandonment and betrayal, intentional or not, could set her running.
Then again, if you look at it pragmatically, Jillian is objectively the most useless survivor out of the bunch. With all the hate on Parker and Kelly not being able to contribute properly to the group, I’m surprised no one mentioned her up until now. Her skill set is extremely narrow-it’s only about useful with dealing with other survivors, and even then those skills can be filled in by other people, including the MC. So maybe some won’t really give a shit about her leaving.
Reilly is maybe with Madie the most sane people in the group. Kelly is in denial Parker is in a denial obsessive compulsory behaviours capable of unarmed attacked a girl with a massive arsenal that just flamed to death a sniper. That is just the boss of the same group is keeping him alive.
Jaime is in massive denial about the time with captain asshole. Rachael is broken beyond repair. Really there is no single one sane people in the group. Reilly at least not pretend everything is okay… The rest are adamantly negate all the situation and willbreakdown soon in moment they reach a safe haven.

How is Rachel broken beyond repair?? She seems sane , maddison is smarter than she looks , Jillian has been betrayed a lot in her life the final one was Lyle leaving her but she is bit sane and loyal to the mc at least if we treat her well . Reilly though is a wild card only Nora can control him but if she dies than he might become insane. I have my doubts on Gina ,Broody ,Kelly and Parker .Tommy if you talk to him will accept that his mom was dying because of the virus.
But Jillian can be useful in negotiation and bluffing the enemies since she has been a con artist for years. She can be loyal to mc if she is treated well.Atleast she acknowledges that she is useless during the hill top zombie battle.Unlike Kelly she doesn’t judge or crticises your decisions like for example while alloting the teams in the battle she actually judges the MCs decision when she herself was a poor judge in bringing Keith to the camp. She kind of tries to over react when I couldn’t find insulin for Parker she was quite angry Wii my character for not getting it and Parker trying to leave.
Rachel is broken beyond repair by guilt and paranoid she can’t thinking in bigger plan and is as stable as quicksilver. With high empathy you see her depressive stat and paranoia. You even could turn jaime and Rachel against each other.
I have to remember that how you play this game changes A LOT the reality of characters and behaviour. A LOT A raider group with high leadership and less members have a Reilly more trustworthy and ready to following you same with Madie and Bro. Dark tommy iss bad ass aand kelly and parker are stupid
Well he knows that the virus was going to kill his mother but the burgers Killing her off made him think that they are the ones who killed her initially but if the mc talks to him and makes him understand the situation he would acknowledge the Inevitable.This happens if we talk to him during the zombie battle near the MCs home.But if we don’t then his mental state detoriates a lot.
I agree with you on Kelly and Parker.But broody not so sure if you had noticed in the school while after rescuing Jamie you can hear Maddie arguing with someone that they have to wait for the mc since he / she said that they will be back I’m assuming that it was broody who wanted to leave and also in the lake broody seems bit jealous of you being selected as the leader if you are playing as a teen.

What bigger plan did you want her to come up with ? Her plan is or was basically the same as ours if not more methodical. Gather a group of people with *specific * skill sets that contribute to our survival and find a place that will keep us safe. Only difference was we got stuck with a Hodge podge of survivors.
Yeah he acknowledges the fact that the virus would have killed her regardless, but he still believes the Makarov’s stole from him his last moments with her so he didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. So that doesn’t change the fact that they still broke into his house and robbed him and killed his dying mother before he actually was able to get some form of closure. So even though he has accepted the fact that the virus would have killed her anyway, he still holds the Makarov’s responsible to a certain degree.
I agree everyone who has survived is emotionally and psychologically damaged. (MC is included)
My Rachel feels torn for having to kill again. That of wants give that impression. I don’t trust her a bit there is something fishy. Somehow she still hiding something . I think Makarovs have stolen Tommy his goodbye and enter in his home also trying to steal me so trying to kill them is totally fine Dark Tommy and me besties.
But didn’t she confess her true intentions at the end ??My mc has high empathy level and was able to guess that Rachel was lying about herself from the beginning . Well she is a part of a group now , I’m assuming that she doesn’t want the group to hate her or isolate her .I agree with you on markarovs helped them by diffusing the situation outside their home in turn they tried to rob by lair so they had to be put down but if Tommy keeps focusing on them alone then his survival will be really low and the markarovs would have become zombie by now or killed by any of those groups.
While a possible outcome, you don’t know that and it’s pure speculation at this point. Just because they decided to become thieves and bandits which entails a greater amount of risk and dangers doesn’t mean that they haven’t found a way to be successful just like the Silverthornes. If they haven’t joined or formed their own group they could have decided to target groups of 2 or 3 and take their supplies. This is also speculation on my part I know but, I think it would be incredibly anti-climactic if the Makarov’s had been killed off screen by some random 3rd party when this confrontation has been teased since Tommy’s mom died in part 1 not to mention it would be a loss of a major character development for Tommy.
Very true, Tommy will die if he can’t find a reason to live for himself. But at the same time getting revenge for his Mom makes me think that he thinks it will bring him closure( we won’t know if it will or won’t until we meet the Makarovs) and any attempt to stop that plan of his will probably/possibly piss him off.
She confesses ONE thing when she is fairly secure that you suspect that already. She however doesn’t really tell you the scope of her knowledge and real relationship with Vincent. And why she seems focused on us since beginning. She could go considering contacting far more important people. In Mara case she has seen killing LOTS of people civilians and army.
Being a spy she certainly could use a half truth that we already suspected. To trying gaining our confidence. Meanwhile she has a secret agenda. It is a @JimD game i expect a treachery betrayal and my guess is Jaime or Rachel. Probably Rachel
Looking forward to the plot twist that has Keith and the Silverthornes be a pretty decent group and Jaime 'n Rachel turn out to be the main villains of the series
