Since he doesn’t have a clear sign that says this is his territory more people are just going to wander into his area. Yes, they could still ignore the sign and go in regardless but there is a possibility they’d listen and not enter which would result in him being able to save his ammunition instead of it would eventually running out which is something that will happen to him if he just keep’s letting people wander into his territory and killing them once they’ve arrived. I’m surprised he hasn’t started creating a barricade around the place since he’s so concerned about other people being there. You may not think he’s crazy but I don’t think he’s been acting smart about his defense strategy.
I’m sure it’s easy to say that but if you were actually starving, you don’t know for sure if you would or wouldn’t eat a rabbit until you’re actually in that situation.
Some good news in the part 2-2 update on the explosives front: [Lopez can give you a ready to use explosive charge, described in text as “a brick of C4 and a detonator.” Not sure what the exact criteria are, but on that play through we were friends and I killed one of his deserter ex-comrades. After the fight with the horde, I talked to him in camp, and there was an option to help him set up his tent. He thanked my character with the C4, which was hilarious the first time because this was a Teenager play through.
My thoughts at that point: “Lopez, you just gave a 16 year old teenage boy live C4. Lopez, you’re loco, but also the BEST.”/]
I mean veganism is a modern world thing, in the case of the apocalypse you wouldn’t be able to have the luxury of choosing what to eat, but hey to each their own mate.
Jude definitely seemed unhinged to me. 2/3 of my MCs considered him too big of a threat to leave alive. The third would want to use his unhinged nature to take advantage of him as an ally.
It’s a bad move to bring jilian with you to the school if you want to be buddy buddy with everyone. And since jilian is alive for you then that means you want to be friend with her.
Not just that…he might eat it raw…or like some other people he might become human eater… forgot what the term is.
It’s easy to say I won’t do anything like that when sitting in the comfort of your house and playing a game.
Cannibalism, yeah hunger can drive people insane, there has been numerous stories of normal human beings going crazy because of hunger, and turning to cannibalism.
It’s also easy to say you’d kill a cute animal and eat their flesh simply because you were hungry when you’re sitting at home and playing on your phone. The bottom line is that is @Johann’s principle and I’m inclined to believe it.
The thing is, It’s been proven countless times that moral ethics doesn’t last long during crisis, especially during starvation.
Like I said, many stories of normal human beings like you and me who turned to cannibalism, I’m sure they never thought they would eat a human being before.
[The first time I faced Jude, I went with the diplomatic route. I really appreciated his character, that of a man who had lost his world, his cause, his best friend/spotter, and many of his marbles. I was also disgusted with the deal he gave my group, how he murdered people just for entering his territory, and how he didn’t care that Kent and company had kids with them.
The second time I faced Jude with my really OP military commander, I scouted his position with a drone found in Kent’s store and sniped Jude’s face with a Remington 700 rifle borrowed from Rachel. As a gun and military history buff, I was really impressed with the shot my character made: a cold bore headshot at 600+ yards while balancing the rifle on a trash can. Bang. Dang.
I then happily looted Jude’s corpse and store, bid Kent and the Stoke family a fond farewell, and thanked Rachel for the well-sighted loaner rifle with a bag of salt and vinegar crisps. The Good Captain (my nickname/save file name for that military commander) is very fond of that mysterious, dangerous Lioness from across the pond (his personal nickname for Rachel, don’t tell her that.) ]
Yes…he is a vegan…so much that he doesn’t include killing animals in his game because it’s animal cruelty but includes lots of human killing…weird no?
No offense to you Sam… I do like your games.
How is that cringey, because I stated a fact that goes against your belief ?
Nothing I said was embarassing, I don’t care if you are a vegan or not, It’s ok in the modern world
But in a world where food is scarce and where everybody is starving, most people who chose to be vegan would go back to hunting and scavenging.
It is nature, almost every species on earth eat other living things to survive.
