Yes… Let’s just throw away this well developed story that at times can have genuine horror and tension as well as the occasional mystery and turn it into a generic, overdone, 1st person zombie shooter what a GREAT idea(by great I mean terrible, terrible idea.)

I’m surprised no one asked for miniguns or did they ?

After he kept doing this again and again, I wanted to shoot him in the foot/leg but that’s not an option sadly.

I like Reilly He is just stupid. Like I can’t tell you how many times I tried to stop him he just wouldn’t stop. Can parker die at the pharmacy run. Because I need him gone. He’s my least favorite character now I don’t like his personality. He’s going to try to agure with me about dead bodies so I will let you get shot.

What don’t you like about his personality? :slightly_frowning_face:

He just so shady and lacks street smarts. Like my mt chacter picked up a dead corpse and jamie told him to come here what doea starts arguing then I let him get shot.

I like Reilly as well but that doesn’t mean I don’t think his actions/behavior isn’t going to put us in danger because he doesn’t think about the consequences of his actions.

I’m curious if he can die during the pharmacy as well because, I was very surprised he didn’t bleed to death from being shot in the leg or the bullet didn’t hit an artery.

Lol😂 , Reilly is a real pain , my reaction too though I just want to kill him off, have a bad feeling about him

I imagine that bad feeling is justified in a playthrough where Nora doesn’t make it and/or if you don’t have high allegiance to keep him in line.

His impulsive nature and short-term, reactive, aggressive mindset are why he isn’t usually my MC’s favorite survivor. He’s a good character and definitely can make for an interesting, eventful narrative, though.

What is it people like about Church? Because I don’t care for him. He’s my least favorite character so far in this game and I want to know what people like about him.

I do not care about him either^^

If I’d want a Zombie super weapon, I would want a lawnmower like in Brain Dead, a helicopter was not really helpful in Dawn of the living dead(original), like the boat in the new version of dawn of the dead^^, so I would not care to get that^^ :joy:

Assuming Parker was shot, he can die, yeah. His fate mostly depends on what you choose to do afterwards. If you make no effort to stabilize him (or don’t have the medical skills to do so) and don’t try to book it back to the camp, he’ll bleed out.

So My relationship with that scene is super ironic.

My multiple Maras and evil characters Parker is a coward and flee . Not dying and trying to stolen me. HOWEVER THE DAMN ONLY ONE NEUTRAL CHARACTER I MADE HE JUST IS THERE ABOUT TO DIE… AND I CAN’T KILL YOU AS SKYE LEE WOULD NEVER LET A BROTHER BEHIND.

LIVE IS NOT FAIR :sob:

Wow, if there was one thing that makes me feel conflicted, it’s this game.

Had a play through with my College Student. Due to some mistakes on my part, I ended up losing Dante, Woody and Bailey. Even though I liked the characters, I was surprisingly satisfied with this-it felt nice to not have everyone be protected and to be reminded that people will die. Feels more like a true story.

Then, of course, I replayed the game and changed every bit of choice until all of them were not only saved, but had extremely high relationships. This satiated the mini maxer inside me, as high numbers and optimal results are always nice, but it just made for a boring story since everyone was alive and loved me.

So now, I’m stuck in an endless civil war of sorts where one part of me wants to not be completely optimal but weave an interesting story and another wants to be completely efficient, regardless of whether it makes the story lose quality or not.

As you probably know sure my answer to that as for me min max is a boring chore. But you always can replay and have both. for me is the story of the character the journey that it matters if some mara lost Marcus i wouldn’t not change that mara it is not a fail. It is not WRONG is just another amazing writeng situation very plausible. And that will make my character deeper in the story.

For me there is not fails THERE IS CHARACTER AND WHAT HAPPENS TO XHIM . sometimes fails make all far more fun and interesting that the boring perfection that is as boring as hell … like see painting dry in a sugary soap opera.

The beauty of replays I tell you. My blind play through is fully immersed role playing, beating back the goblin side of my brain telling me which is the “right” choice to pick and going with what my character would do. Then my second is a different version of fully immersed role playing, kind of like if I played the “good guy” route the first time I’d play the bad guy the second time and vice versa.

Then, to satisfy my min-maxer urges I go back and replay for best possible outcome. It all comes down to what you want to take away from the game.

In this game I love exploring the different interactions you can have with characters and the many relationships this includes. I also love the math side of it, the management and supply stuff really draws me in because I like that kind of game. So with a game that branches like this I have… way too many saves is all I’m saying.

I’ve been on a Vampire the Masquerade kick recently and struggle between min-max and role playing. When I write ZESH, I see both sides and also the hybrid player. Some players love to figure out every single skill point and make their MC the most effective at beating skill checks while others have a vision of a character they want to portray and their stat screen is never used. I want both players and those in between to enjoy this game no matter how hard it is to make it.
