While that does inform us of who’s in the area, the alarm system could possibly put us at risk of being discovered or at least alert someone that finds the alarm that someone is close enough to the lake to keep track of it’s movements. Also, for that to work it seems like there would need to be a rope or something long enough to connect the trap and whatever noisemaker that’s in camp to inform us of possible movement problem with that is if the alarm is discovered before it’s set off is someone could easily follow it back to camp and surprise attack us.
Fair enough, I could see Jaime like that pre-apocalypse but I doubt he’d be that forgiving or kind to my bandit MC if he found out I murdered Woody. So, I doubt this will have a peaceful resolution when we inevitably or possibly clash.
Just because I like an NPC/RO doesn’t mean I won’t murder them in a playthrough if I’m given the opportunity to do so. Death comes for us all and I’m just shuffling them off the mortal coil sooner than they expected.(I have even been able to cause Nora’s death by not tasking anyone to build enough defenses around the camp.)
I wouldn’t be surprised if Jaime cracked under pressure from everyone’s expectations of him being leader and not being able to save people causing him to lose his mind. You said it yourself Jaime can get mad if the MC doesn’t make decisions and just tell him to make a decision.
I was kidding! I’ve already adjusted to the fact that some terribly heartless folk have no trouble offing my faves…
This is the first I’ve heard of Nora being a conditional NPC, though. Does it only happen if you don’t build defences and ignore setting people on Watch Duty?
This is a hundred percent what I expect to happen (99% actually, the theory of him being Leather Jack is interesting and would make for a wicked albeit strange twist). He puts on a strong front but as time goes on he’s probably going to be affected by the apocalypse more than anyone else. At least my endlessly positive MC is likely to stay sane.
Eh, I find that a bit doubtful. Jamie and Rachel seem to be easily the strongest of the group, in terms of Attributes. It would be interesting and terrifying if Jamie goes crazy because of the MC’s influence.
I didn’t ignore putting people on watch duty it was more like butchering a majority of the possible recruits which left me with 12 group members maybe less and not having enough people on watch. I also wasn’t expecting her to die, I just wanted to see the consequences of not having the proper defenses. So it was kind of random.
It’s possible that people attributing them to be the strongest in the group based off of appearances put’s more pressure on them to not want to fail to meet those expectations causing them to panic or crack when they do fail. So while you having faith in their ability to keep you alive is a good thing, you’re also putting a lot of pressure on them.
Fuck, it took me a minute to realize what the attributes are (I’ve punched them in so many times it’s like white noise in text form) but, imo, Jaime and Rachel probably have crazy low Willpower but have the Charisma and Intelligence to cover it up. Jaime just seems better at it weirdly, since I don’t recall him having a semi-breakdown.
It appears Nora will not be dying in any of my main playthroughs, current or future
How so ? I don’t recall Rachel having a breakdown yet either.
In the words of John Cena “ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT!?” (I’m sorry but it went too well with this.) Since it was Reilly who captured and possibly roughed up Benton on the way back, I can see him possibly killing Nora as payback(even though that’s kind of petty) I can see it happening.
Rachel’s moment at the end of Part 2 read like one to me but perhaps that wasn’t the intention? If it was then Jaime has one-up on her.
Benton wasn’t captured in either of my main playthroughs (I think, everything towards the end of Part 2 gets fuzzy) but I’m still holding on to my small shred of hope that Keith and his crew aren’t so bad. After Dillan I doubt there will be any more black or white villains with the exception of small-time obstacles (or… just zombies). Jim did say a lot of speculation is wrong
I never saw that as Rachel breaking down, I thought she was just removing the façade she had created for herself. Also, while this isn’t a breakdown on his part, when assigning people into teams to face the horde Jaime can actually create an imbalance of team members which results in him getting more people with guns and less people on the opposite team. There’s also a moment when Jaime get’s frustrated with the fact that he has to deal with another problem when he’s trying to repair the van and yells “what now!?” “what now!?”(I think this is before the horde shows up or when Church shows up)So it’s kind of a mini-breakdown.
I think Keith did say that he tried to help people at the beginning and lost people as a result which is what possibly caused him to change his ideology as it relates to how to survive. Now do I think Keith has a small shred of humanity ? I don’t know nor do I really care, I care about the fact that he told us he’d kill us if we didn’t join him or serve his militia and threatened us in our own home. I also don’t plan on fighting him on the grounds of “it’s our moral and ethical duty to stop him from hurting other people.” If I started one, heroic crusade I’d end up getting involved in the business of every struggling survival and I have no interest in that. I’m willing to fight him because, I don’t believe he’ll leave us alone if I don’t kill him and his whole militia. I also don’t believe that Keith will be the major antagonist of part 3 so I’m willing to work with him if an alliance increase both of our groups odds of survival. Even though I probably would kill him afterwards.
Okay, that’s highly exaggerated. He just asked her a question because he studies Native Americans. He even cuts himself off from chatting more about it. Also nothing wrong with his casting his gaze at beautiful woman; he’s not some sleazy pervert.
I actually have a lot of sympathy for the guy. This also reminds me of how sexy Mr Kent calls him Beefcake the whole time. I felt bad for laughing but I can’t help it if the dude’s funny. Also, Kent is midly bullying Jaime here and Jaime doesn’t even do anything aside from roll his eyes. I wish he could’ve shoved him or something because he doesn’t like name-calling. Gentle giant, that guy.
I feel she was just genuinely anxious about the whole battle. Say what you want about her training but no one could have been prepared to face such monumental numbers of dead people. If anything, her little moment showed me she’s still human.
He is a sleazy pervert in Mara eyes. (not mine. Maras) She gives a shit the guy put him to work don’t talk to him not trying to help him in the school etc…
Still the guy seems to look Mara as a barbecue meat… To point In last scene EACH SINGLE TIME is trying to go for romance like a creepy guy.
I mean i know him for FIVE HOURS I HAVEN’T ASKING HIM SHIT i put him to work in my house… how in hell he could input mara wants hanky panky with him…
WHEN SHE SAY GROSS TO SANDWICH AND TOSS IT IN GARBAGE.
80 percent charisma is a double edge sword lol
Edit Also Mara main hobby is singing and surprisingly this is Mara favourite song for several reasons.
I always played as a Highwayman, and always carried a dirk and a pistol with me; to defend againts cultists…err I mean zombies and not to rob people blind;
Nobody forces you to go out and steal. I have a vegetarian super star that literally spending all time before Woody arrive at home scared and looking tv computer and being scared as hell. Is perfectly possible
