Zombie Exodus, going forward

P, I imagine the horrors of the zombie apocalypse just took its toll on Jason, the worlds falling apart he sees his GF dead, he breaks.

@revanrulesrussia I’d guess that Candace slept with Jason for two, possibly three, basic reasons:

  1. As much as she loves Carl, his co-dependent nature causes him to become suffocating and that drives her away.

  2. She has a thing for bright, intelligent men, and Jason is definitely that. His passion for his cause and his veneer of confidence probably didn’t hurt either.

  3. Given her self-admitted history of short, crappy relationships, she doesn’t sound particularly discerning when it comes to picking men.

@JimD Sadist! (That’s for saying Devlin is moving in.)

@P-Tigras I think it’s just the third one. :slight_smile:

@Person She wasn’t really his gf except in his head. Given his description I’m doubtful they even kissed. He even stood her up on their one and only date because he ā€œforgotā€.

Well yeah, in his head, he thought of her as his GF, she dies, there would be negative effects of that on a psyche.

There is no way I’d forget about a first date with a girl I cared a great deal about. I’d be thinking about it all day. I have to conclude that either he didn’t really care about her, or that he has psychological issues. Given all the time and energy he had already invested, I’m inclined to rule out the former. So that simply leaves the psychological issues.

Yeah… It’s pretty obvious he has psychological issues.

yay! Devlin! Heather’s just gonna have to suck it up. but I wonder what would happen if youre with Heather or Tom and if you wanted Devlin to go with you on the boat. That might cause some disagreements. Interesting…

Bricks have been shat

So…

Devlin is my favorite character! I was hoping he would move in. ^.^

I don’t dislike Jason because he is socially awkward, or even that finger issue, unsettling as it is. I actually liked the guy up until the Carl incident. Now my approval rating for both of them is ranked at: Blehhhh.

Cool thing that bout Devlin. Maybe my scientist will use his blood to infect everyone to ā€œsaveā€ them.

Has anyone ever thought Jason’s girlfriend left the finger at her apartment for him to find? On their trip to NY Jason got her drunk, forget why. They then got matching butterfly tattoos on their index fingers. Then when they got back they organized a date, but Jason got busy. If I remember right he figured out the government was hiding info about the virus and wanted to find out everything about it, hence forgetting the date. So when he found the finger it had the tattoo on it and he took it so, he could remember her. She could have cut it off before she turned.

Personally I believe they mutually cared for eachother. I feel Jason felt bad for forgetting but that the finger was closure for him to continue on with life.

@spyfox259 or the whole story Jason told was a lie & he was stalking her, geting the butterfly tattoo because she had one then killed her & took her finger when she didn’t return his feelings.

he already said that he altered his boss’s agenda so he would miss the flight leaving Jason alone with her, sounds like crazy Stalker behavior to me

@Lobo420 I don’t think the whole story was a lie. The story was tainted with a little lie here and there. I was just trying to take the defense of Jason. He got sucked into his work and forgot the date. I don’t recall him killing her. We know he is socially awkward and has psychological issues. I feel he is a good enough guy to at least feel sorry for.

Yeah… Both of those stories are pretty silly.

Carl’s the only one who’s shown an obvious willingness to kill another human being who wasn’t threatening his life.

@Shoelip tom is one to kill another person, maybe not directly but he does send you on a Suicide mission & only gives you a limited time to get it done.
& Heather would leave Devin to die
& Jason throws you out to die after hearing the zombie screech

Jason throws you out because he’s an idiot. And no, leaving someone to die is not the same thing as intentionally murdering them with your own hands. Sane people can delude themselves into believing that it wasn’t there fault, and in heather’s case she didn’t even see Devlin die. (and he didn’t, but that’s beside the point)

Carl was going to murder Jason with his own two hands, with full intent.

Jason, Heather, Devlin, and Carl seem the most polarizing (love/hate) characters.

Mindy, Candace and Uncle Lou are generally well liked.

Tom and Emma seem neutral, or people feel ambivalent toward them.

Is that true? Does anyone hate Uncle Lou or Mindy?

Nope. Uncle Lou is like a big teddy bear, and Mindy, well, no one hates her.
