Zombie Exodus, going forward

OFF TOPIC!!!

You’re right. Let’s get back on topic:
Should we have a chocolate cake, or just a regular cake?

@JimD im looking forward to see if you update the previous chapters with an update for a Mindy romance & her reaction on being sent for Fuel to go with Emma/Heathers rereactions, or even add a romance for candice/Tom/Jason/Carl or any of the other characters.

& a Mechanic Profession, i was disapointed that we couldnt take the SUV but that was a minor thing since we had the choice of other cars. & Mechanic profession would let you upgrade the cars at the Cathedral to run on Biofuel.

I think JimD should add romance options for Candace. Anyone else agree?

Can you romance Mindy? If not, would it be too much to ask to make it so you can? If it is, don’t worry about it.

You can romance mindy and Tom @lobo420 @archangel950 candace and Jason got something going on so romancing them wont really work, and Carl would be a good idea i think but again he loved Candace soo…

Then may I humbly request a save spot at some point during the oil rig section? That can be a pretty frustrating run without dying four or five different times in a row to the same two zombies (actually happened) and having to take it from the top back at the Cathedral.

Maybe when you reach Richard, before you go down to the fuel separator?

@ArchAngel950 if you are talking about the 2 zombs in the boiler room (the cowboy & the oil stained) just hide from them & move to the back of the room then up the ladder, you’ll be able to pick them off without the danger of dying.

@Thatdudeoutthere the fact that Candice IS unfaithfull to Carl would make it easier to sway her away from both Carl & Jason so a romance would still be possible, & telling Carl about Candice’s relationship with Jason would open a romance with him.

@Shoelip I never said either Carl or Candace were perfect either. Nevertheless, regardless of whether or not they existed, I’d still consider Jason a ā€˜derriere’ for the following reasons:

  1. If you encountered him in your apartment building while searching for a cell phone to call your sister, not only couldn’t he bothered to lend you his (or set you up with a VOIP connection) , but he also kicks you out as soon as he hears a zombie shriek.

  2. He keeps the severed finger of the last girl that interested him in his dorm room. That’s more than a little creepy.

  3. Not only did he forget about his date with her due to the apocalypse, but he also didn’t think to contact her until several days later when it was too late. I can’t help but think that had Candace been dating Jason instead of Carl when the zombie apocalypse struck, that would be Candace’s finger in his room instead.

@P_Tigras And that is why I want nothing to do with Jason when Zombie Exodus starts.

  1. There was also the way Jason altered his director’s itinerary so he’d miss the flight so Jason could be alone with the girl on the trip, and then did a search on her so he’d know what sort of shows and restaurants to take her. He comes across as more than a little manipulative here.

Maybe there could be some text during the meetings so I know what everyone else is doing while I’m risking my life, because it’s ticking me off that while I’m decapitating zombies for all I know everybody else is sitting around the cathedral with their thumbs up Their butts

@p_tigras I dare not imagine the sick and twisted things he does with that finger. But unfortunately I have some ideas :expressionless:

@revanrulesrussia The more I think about Jason’s past actions the more troubled I feel.At best he’s both self-absorbed and more than a little weird. There is however a small, but very real possibility, that he’s directly responsible for his last girl’s death…

He is self absorbed, too busy to care about anyone or anything else that doesnt have to do with himself. A narcississt, if I ever seen one.

@Thatdudeoutthere Its far from clear that the affair between Jason and Candace is serious. Neither is particularly adept at dealing with the opposite sex. Candace has a history of short crappy affairs that are over in 6 months while Jason has issues just getting laid, let alone dealing with women as fellow human beings. I tend to see Candace as reverting to her usual romance type with Jason, and that’s why she isn’t dumping Carl. Carl is her security blanket.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a player character who was both intelligent and consistently supportive of Candace ended up winning her heart away from both Carl and Jason. I doubt either Carl or Jason would be too pleased about that if they’re still around however.

It never does say outright that Candace and Jason are sleeping together. Carl accused it and Candace denied it, but who knows?

@revanrulesrussia if Mindy trusts you enough she’ll tell you Candace and Jason are more than friends and that it’s gotten way out of hand. She also says that it’s crazy for Candace to go back and forth between the two men. Everyone has a lot more to worry about than love triangles.

@Matteller I don’t want to think about what Jason is doing with that poor girl’s severed finger either.

Why would Candace go for a dweeb like Jason?

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that the socially awkward and unusual nerd character is getting the most shit from posters on an internet forum about text adventure games?

Yeah, it’s pretty weird to carry the severed finger of your lover around but then it’s pretty weird to have that as the sole keepsake of her existence as a living human being, and it’s also pretty weird to be in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. ā€œWeirdā€ is relatively meaningless in this setting. The dead are running around trying to consume the living.
