@Epicazeroth It’s moved over to the ‘Unnatural’ thread, in line with the game’s name having been changed.
I’ve played part 3 and it still doesn’t explain the girl but it does bring her out more.
@Blackheart the last section I am writing allows you to search the cathedral and/or talk to other survivors. The “little girl” will be part of that section.
Ok I really cant wait to find out bout her
Hello, Jim! I’ve gotten around to playing Zombie Exodus during my downtime in school. [I don’t know what you did so that it’s not blocked, but I think that since ChoiceofGames.com isn’t blocked in my school’s computer, any games hosted on it aren’t either. Unfortunately, that doesn’t say the same to games that’re hosted on other websites, while still using CS. Also, I can’t log in on a school computer.]
I’ll wade through the discussions I’ve been missing. For now, my main complaint is an annoyance as to why I can’t play the entire game through. If I start at Part 1, it won’t transition into Part 2, etc. It stops at each chapter and gives me the ‘Thanks for playing!’ page.
[Tons of spoilers, I’d advise against reading past this point if you haven’t played the Fuel Run mission]
I don’t like ending on a sour note, so I will say this. While I DID play as a football player with all stats upgraded [The option was there, why not.], the fuel run is wonderful. It gave me a whole different feel that the entire game has had. The whole ‘time limit’ thing was a huge push in the right direction, at least for this mission. I take my time searching through every corridor, kill every zombie, etc. etc. The whole ‘Time limit’ thing made me keep pushing forward, and that one scene before the Crew’s quarters made me curse at my curiosity for touching something that I shouldn’t have. It was a great moment, and I think this is the one scene where I’ve finally hit that ‘grey’ feel of being desperate. Wanting to never waste my NVG, but also considering the fact that a flashlight would aware zombies of me. The jump-off-the-boat thing with a rope? That was genius. All in all, hats off to another wonderful chapter.
I don’t think the NVGs ever actually help you though… The only time you can where them when zombies will spot the light, you automatically make a noise and give yourself away anyway.
@MyYoungzman thanks for the feedback. I am glad you like the fuel run. As far as the transitions between parts, that’s only because Part 3 scenes are beta tests, so I load them to my server and remove them when testing is done. I will put the entire sequence of Part 3 up in about 2 weeks for full testing, and then the transitions will be restored.
@Shoelip NVGs make it easier to fight though I need to fine tune the stat checks. Basically, if you need to shine a light during a fight, it will be harder to aim, bash, slice, or stab.
I finally have a day off of work, so I can make some adjustments today.
I was just thinking, if this cure you get the clue to begin developing during the medicine run actually works, I wonder how it would work. Would it only cure people in the few seconds between the time they’ve been infected and the time they turn? Or what? Those two cheerleader zombies from the bread truck seem like they’d make perfect test subjects since they’re already restrained and if I remember correctly were described as “pristine”.
Just go through the Fuel Run as a 30 Dex Minister, this way I can shoot the boiler room pair when they come back for me, and spotted another bug (or is it intended?).
After I offer absolution to Richard, I can’t just accept his help, but have to threaten or kill the poor guy.
What I did above deck:
1)Climb the crate pyramid
2)Offer absolution through intercom
3)Cross the bridge
4)This is when you can only be a cold bastard instead of a nice minister
I’m curious what part 4 is going to be.
@Passer556 This should be fixed now. Thanks for pointing it out!
@Aznxa I am writing the rest of Part 3 which transitions to Part 4. Without giving too much away, the major events will be exploring the loose ends (girl in the park, military group, etc.) and the Zombie Exodus will occur (zombies move from the cities to the surrounding areas in massive numbers).
I don’t want to give big spoilers but it won’t be a cure. If you have collected enough specimens from each mission, it will be enough to develop the “serum.”
Hm, I see. I had been a bit confused about how you can “cure” the living dead…
@JimD just wanted to let you know how much I love your game!!! It is one of the best on here and written perfectly! The only thing I’m scared of in the future is running out of supplies, food, etc lol! Maybe we could have an easy play through without them lol! Again wonder game and can’t wait for an update!!!
@jammy thanks for your support! There’s no easy road in the apocalypse – the next part involves searching for supplies, food, medicine, fuel, etc. But you have some help this time, not just Emma and Heather.
@Shoelip yep no cure, but I have a fairly intriguing path for scientists planned.
@JimD you are most welcome! And yay I love companions /help!!!
@JimD. Hey I was just wondering how your trailer for the game was coming. I’m really curious as to how it is going to turn out.
now hopefully chuck norris hadnt became a zombie or we would be all screwed by the flying laser zombies.
Isn’t the Chuck Norris meme dead already?
