I’d been lurking back during that whole thing and, as a feminist myself, Canisa’s bullying of Vendetta was just embarrassing to watch. Disagreeing with someone is no excuse to act so horribly.
However, as @Shoelip said, it’s all in the past and we probably shouldn’t dwell on it.

@rrr “feminist” just means someone who wants equal rights for both genders. It’s not a bad term, it’s just that a few people misuse the term and they get all the attention, so it gives everyone else a bad rep.
I think equal rights for both genders has been established long before I was born. So why is it still a movement?

No, voting rights doesn’t mean equal rights, just like the civil rights movement didn’t end racism once and for all. And you don’t have to be a part of any movement to be a feminist, you just have to think both genders deserve to be treated equally. However, this is probably not the place for this discussion.

I believe there used to be a thread around here discussing gender equality in choice games, but I think it may have died some time ago…

@Canissa always seemed an alright person for me, though I did not agreed with her opinions about sexism in COG; I mean, some of us want sexism in historical games, to apply to its realism and to be able to kick in its ugly face like real women and men in history did.
However, I consider myself and equalist and not a feminist; I don’t know, the mainstream feminist movement can get ridiculous when fauxminist put their words in others mouths, I don’t like to be related to that. I support real feminist, though, I love women even when I’m not one; they are amazing and deserve equality and respect.
