I am delighted that it pleases you. Much more to come!
On this soft rainy weekend, I made some good progress with the current chapter in the game, but got sidetracked by a shipwreck I did not know about until one of the characters started to describe it to the MC. I love when writing lets you uncover such treats.
The most difficult part of this game is trying to play cribbage.
most difficult so far…
There may be rumors that I have been paid by The Cribbage Consortium (Big Crib) to include the game in order to boost its popularity among IF readers. I decline to comment on such rumors in order to avoid triggering The Streisand Effect.
Have started using Freewrite, a distraction-reducing keyboard that saves the drafts you write both in the device and online. It can also email the current document to you. I am finding this helps me write scenes with better flow, because I concentrate on the dialog and actions and stick in IF STATEMENT HERE or CHOICE HERE where needed. Then I can add the code bits after I am content with the way the scene feels, and drop the whole thing into a choicescript text file. Have turned out several thousand words in an hour a day since Saturday, and hope to continue until Your One Moment is done.
