The immediate thought that came to mind is early planes/ balloons at some point.
I can confirm that those WILL make an appearance
Hey there everyone. I just wanted to say thank you to all who have waited so patiently for my updates and supported my progress with all of your kind words, questions, and criticisms. I genuinely cannot express how much I appreciate you all and promise that the next update IS coming, and sooner rather than later. I am currently just getting through the final internal testing of all the paths (there are more than ever before in this chapter), and trying to edit up as much as I can see.
Again, thank you all, and I look forward to hearing all of your thoughts, theories, and comments when the next update arrives shortly ![]()
Looking forward to it love exploring the differences of a game world.
I think the main features I’d like have been mentioned previously. The potential option for some sort of kill count, or at least perhaps a background stat that keeps track of it so that if you hit certain numbers you gain some sort of reputation or Mythos around you. That sounds extreme but I had in mind figured like Jack Churchill and the White Death as inspiration. Although at the same time such a feature could prove counter productive in a story telling the horrors of war so it’s entirely at your discretion.
And take your time with updates. Good things take time to cook!
Eh kinda disagree that it could prove counter productive since the very thing could serve to show case the horrors of it. From a different angle but yeah agree would be cool to have a nickname given to us for our deeds and the fame/infamy can grow around it.
@Zerkeous was thinking about your question about features and the like you wanted suggestions for. An because I dont recall it being stated and at moment being lazy and not looking through the thread lol. The title mentions light fantasy what do you mean by that?
i mean you’re…fighting in regular WWI but against elves, so yknow, light fantasy
Lol true enough but still doesnt give a full range of what the author might consider light fantasy for the setting of there story’s world.
