(WIP) The Wild Hunt - Chapter 1 (Supernatural/Action) [Updated 2/26/25]

The wild hunt is a group of superhumans and elves, both dead and alive who serve as special military to the elven kingdom, now the united kingdoms. The elven goddess Artemis created the wild hunt to be a nightmare, to end battles before they begin.

The current leader is Godwyn, the King of the Wild Hunt and his wife Valentine, the Queen of the Wild Hunt. The scale of the Wild Hunt is large enough to be its own kingdom but instead is reserves for the capital city.

Your story begins at the end, with no memory of who you were. You are born into an ancient world on the brink of an apocalypse.

Stop this world’s end by defeating the four horsemen. With the wild hunt and the strike force. By any means necessary.

The MC's family (Raubtier)
Godwyn - King of the Wild Hunt

True Archdemon

Godwyn is a warrior forged in ice and war, a man whose name alone commands both fear and respect. As a descendant of Artemis, the elven goddess of the hunt, he inherited powerful cryomancy, wielding frost as both a weapon and an extension of his will.

Yet, it is the monstrous arm from the Archdemon that makes him truly formidable—an eldritch gift of raw, unrelenting power that sets him apart even from other legends. The birth of a bloodline of archdemons.

Pragmatic, reserved, and ruthless, Godwyn is not a man of empty words or wasted motion. His cold logic has earned him many titles, but none as infamous as leader of the Wild Hunt, the relentless force that keeps the western world from falling into ruin.

Despite his fearsome reputation, fatherhood has tempered him in ways he never anticipated. Gwen, his daughter, reflects his intellect and detachment, yet surpasses him in necromantic power. Eradin, his son, is his opposite—bold, charismatic, and brimming with the same bloodlust as his mother.

Though he would never admit it, the presence of his family has changed him, made him question whether love has dulled the ruthless edge that once defined him.

Valentine - Queen of the Wild Hunt

Blood Maiden/Unknown

She is a descendant of the Blood Maidens, a rare and ancient lineage of elven women born under the red moon, who possesses a mastery over blood. While most of her kin are puppeteers of life essence, bending others to their will, Valentine wields her power like a cryomancer; shaping and weaponizing her own blood.

The blood maidens were notorious for appearing demonic under specific conditions. The specifics is lost to time but the innate fear of the blood maidens remain throughout history.

Those she deems worthy will find an unwavering ally—one who laughs loudly, loves deeply, and fights without hesitation. But beneath her warmth lurks something darker. Bloodlust clings to her like a curse, surfacing in moments of battle, in the quiet thrill of the hunt. She does not fight simply to survive—she enjoys it.

A lover, a warrior, a storm wrapped in the guise of a woman—Valentine is not one to be tamed, only respected. And for those who underestimate her kindness, there is a simple lesson waiting in the sharp edge of her crimson blades: her love is fierce, but her wrath is absolute.

Gwen - Firstborn Monarch

True Archdemon

As the firstborn daughter of Godwyn and Valentine, she is a genetic anomaly, inheriting the Archdemon’s magical prowess. Her necromancy is exceptional, able to command an endless army of the dead and reanimating nearly any corpse to serve her will. All of which are stored in her shadow.

She used to have the archdemonic mask before transforming into the true archdemon. Since then, she appears normal.

From her mother’s lineage, she possesses electrified blood, granting her heightened speed and reflexes, making her a terrifying force in both sorcery and combat.

Although her cryomancy is weaker than Godwyn’s, her mastery of necromancy far surpasses Godwyns, making her one of the most dangerous necromancers to have ever existed.

Yet, for all her power, Gwen is cold—detached from emotion, pragmatic to the extreme, and analytical to a fault. She does not waste words, nor does she entertain sentimentality.

She approaches everything as a puzzle to be solved, a calculation to be perfected. To her, emotions are secondary to efficiency, and attachment is merely another weakness to exploit.

Of her parents, she favors Godwyn, mirroring his pragmatic approach to life. Valentine, in turn, tries—perhaps in vain—to reach the daughter who remains just out of grasp.

Her only true connection is with her younger brother, Eradin, whose reckless energy and charisma serve as the tether keeping her from becoming something truly lifeless.

Eradin - Secondborn Puppeteer

True Archdemon

As the second-born son of Godwyn and Valentine, he embodies the best—and most dangerous—parts of his lineage. Eradin used to have archdemonic hands before transforming into the true archdemon. Since then, he appears normal.

Unlike Gwen, who walks in death’s shadow, Eradin wields Crimson Ice, a volatile fusion of cryomancy and blood magic that burns and explodes on impact. He does not wield ice like his father, nor blood like his mother—he wields both, bending them into a devastating force that no one else can replicate.

Eradin is vibrant, outgoing and effortlessly charismatic. His natural confidence draws others to him like moths to a flame, and he revels in the attention. He wins every fight he enters, emerging unscathed, a fact that only feeds his ego. But beneath his playful arrogance lies an undeniable hunger for battle, an edge that makes him more like his mother than he’d care to admit.

He shares a deep bond with Valentine, favoring her over Godwyn. He understands her bloodthirst, her wild nature, her love of the fight. In return, she sees him for what he is—a warrior who walks the line between exhilaration and destruction.

With Gwen, however, things are different. She is his opposite in nearly every way—cold, precise, and methodical where he is impulsive and reckless. And yet, there is an unspoken balance between them, a tether that keeps them both from losing themselves to their darker instincts. If Gwen is the strategist, Eradin is the warrior that brings her plans to life.

All ROs
Agni - The Kinslayer's Daughter

True Form

Agni is a red dragon shifter born with the ability to shift between her human guise and different states towards her true dragon form.

She is the daughter of the Kinslayer, a rebellious dragon shifter who slaughtered her own kind to topple a tyrannical dragonlord.

This lineage has made her both revered and reviled among dragons, for the very blood in her veins is Armageddon—the dragon god of destruction prophesied to bring about the world’s end.

Now part of the Wild Hunt’s strike force, Agni fights alongside those as dangerous as herself. Whether she is a savior or the first omen of Armageddon remains uncertain, but one thing is clear—when Agni takes to the battlefield, the world burns.

Sylus - The Impaler

Sylus is a vampire swordsman whose austere demeanor and lethal skill with the blade have earned him the infamous title of “the Impaler.”

His resemblance to Alucard, the vampire king’s son, only magnifies his aura of danger—many believe there is a deeper connection between them. Within the courts of the undead, he serves as the king’s executioner: if Sylus pays you a visit, it means the king has already passed your death sentence.

Though he wears the title of executioner like a cloak, something deeper lies beneath his stoic façade—a lingering question of loyalty, identity, and fate. Is his resemblance to Alucard a secret to something deeper or a mere coincidence as life or undeath often is?

Sylus offers no answers, only a measured stare that promises swift ends for those who stand in his way.

Eris - The Revenant

Eris is a revenant—a being who returned from death long after her time should have ended. She lurks on the edges of mortal perception, more an unsettling presence than a companion.

She rarely speaks, and when she does, her words are brief, deliberate, and unsettling. Empathy seems alien to her; she observes the living with a detached curiosity, as though she’s forgotten what it means to be alive.

Some believe she is an omen of disaster, others a lost soul wandering without purpose.

Now she’s a part of the Wild Hunt’s strike force. Whether she is searching for answers or simply following some unseen call, only she knows.

But one truth remains—where Eris walks, death is never far behind.

Zuko - The Dark Knight

Berzerker

Zuko is a dark knight whose body and soul are bound to living armor—a shadowy entity that grants him immense strength at the cost of his own lifeforce.

As an S-rank adventurer and a feared mercenary, he can wield colossal weapons with surprising ease. When he allows its darkness to envelop him fully, he becomes a berserker cloaked in living shadow, striking fear into friend and foe alike.

Zuko’s demeanor can be oddly calm and focused outside of battle, as if he’s carefully rationing every shred of self-control. The armor feeds on his vitality, and he’s well aware that every swing of his blade costs him a little more of his life.

Now a member of the Wild Hunt’s strike force, he walks the razor’s edge between using the armor’s power for righteous goals and letting it consume him entirely.

Yet in the moments that matter most, he does not hesitate; he’ll plunge into the darkness for the sake of his allies—and hope that he can still pull himself back from the brink.

Wow another pair of shitty parents in IF lol .This time they even kill you.

Crazy talk given how she kills you and walks away and says “disappointing” or “We will make another one”.Should get to kill her too just like she did to us here.

Oh nah this is crazy

Dad is just as bad and why did he interfere for no reason here.

ok this is my first time commenting on here but the scene where your own mother wants to kill you made me do it… and she’s not just testing your resolve or whatever, she literally wants to kill you and after she does, she says “disappointing” or “We will make another” and walks away like her own child meant nothing. worst part is if you do not die, she puts on that act of being a loving mom again and gives you that fake smile. This actually pissed me off so much. Like the mom doesn’t actually love you she only care if you can fulfill whatever role she wants you to. There should be a choice to be mad at the parents for this and hold a grudge against them. Maybe even become distant with them and hopefully return the favor by killing the mom or both parents.

Its a plot point with the death marker. Once you defeat the horsemen of death, you begin to see your parents as they truly are.

Predators.

Your siblings already know what they are to a lesser degree.

ok but having the MC be ok with it and acting like their own parents didn’t just try to actually kill them is what I have problem with. I have seen a lot of shitty parents but nothing like this. it’s only fair if there is a choice to hold a grudge after this interaction. and then putting on a fake smile like she wasn’t just gonna walk away and “make another kid” was so sickening to me… I have seen shitty parents in IFs before but idk why this particular scene actually pissed me off so much

Noted but as far as the MC knows, they were giving tough love. Not actually going to kill them.

This grudge will be short lived. For one, they are nicer afterwards and two, they treat you well. As it’s implied, your mother is much worse than your father. Only the reader will know this.

The deaths you saw was an alternate end.

Each end showed their true feelings towards their kids. Especially the mother. Only the reader knows this.

You won’t find out about their feelings about you and your siblings until firstly your siblings visit and after death is defeated.

That’s fair but once the mc finds out the parent’s true nature I hope there is a choice to react to that in a way we se fit, whether to accept it or cut ties with them.

good luck on the story.

Nah the father was just as bad in the situation lol in comparison to the Mom saying making another one he said we will make multiple new ones lol. Also he killer is how cheapshot. They both need to die asap.In my opinion they kind of got too edgy instead of killing the mc this could have been a bad end where they instead just stop training the mc and neglect them basically a game over .So mc ends up as nothing and that’s the end. That would still make them shitty but not that edgy haha.

Honestly…your mother would rather kill you than let you live a normal life with the arm. Youre basically another godwyn to her and anything less is useless.

Killing them is not possible for you. Even with the death marker. Gwen has a better chance but she doesn’t really care to.

I am talking about killing them in future lol when Mc is in his prime .Also it ain’t just mom it’s both of them as Dad was killing Mc too.If it was just mom killing the mc and giving us bad ends while Dad tried to stop her or was atleast sympathetic about it then it would be different.I just find it edgy for the sake of edgy not to mention mothers usually have different expections from kids so she shouldn’t be seeing Mc like her husband and expect him to pass her trial like Godwyn did.

Nevertheless, it is a potential plot point.

Are we able to be a snow elf or is that route not completed yet?
Edit: Just realized it is most likely because I chose the warmer skin color in the beginning.

I have to admit, it took me a bit to figure out why an choice was greyed out, and that I had to choose other skin tone and not the pale skin tone. You’re not the only one that had that issue.
