I’ve begun work on my first game tentatively titled Rise From The Ashes. In it you survive your village being destroyed, meet a mysterious stranger, and now have to deal with city politics. And that’s just the start. There will be battles, political schemes, and romance.
I have a writing style that is a bit different. I know the direction I want to take the story, but I don’t have an outline that has everything plotted out and instead let it evolve as I write.
Any and all feedback is appreciated and welcome.

That is the only complete part currently and i need to fix a piece of code so it will end instead of trying to load something thats not there yet. That’s why you can’t get past. There aren’t really any stats yet but I’ll fix that. Thanks!

The PC’s village is destroyed, you’re the only survivor, do you seek revenge for what was taken from you or do you make a new life for yourself? I’m planning out the story as I go so I have a general direction I want to go in but it depends on where the story naturally wants to go. I plan on updating and explaining the current description as it develops. Hope this helps!

Looks interesting! I’d recommend putting a description of your game in the first post, as that’s the best way to get people interested. It doesn’t need to be super extensive, if you’re more of a pantser. Just put what you know for certain, and add or edit as needed in the future.

What kind of story will this turn out to be? Like what general direction do you wish to take this? A mercenary? Romance? Rogue? Rebel? Hero?

Hi thanks for asking! So I might be biting off a bit more than I can chew but my idea is to kind of let the player decide as far as mercenary, soldier, or rogue there will be romance as well and as far as hero… I want there to be a possible join the villain path as well but like I said possibly might be more than I can do at this point but that’s what I want to give players. Does that answer your question or do you want me to expand further? And if you have any other questions I would love to hear them!

I suggest you chose 1-3 themes in order not to stress yourself out. I know I would love for you to do that but it will take a very huge hit against your mental stress and will effect your daily life. I wish you think about it first since “When you try to be everything to everyone, you end up being nothing to no one” and focus on one audience focusing on yourself first and then everyone else. I suggest in this storyline hopefull you add Romance, Soldier, Hero path with a little revenge choices taht decide your morality but doesnt really makr you a villian. You can do that in Book 2 maybe, but for now I would suggest this as a reader. You can change it and make it however you like! Just please be Romance

Haha yeah that’s what I’m figuring out is it will be impossible to put everything in one book. I am leaning towards romance and hero for sure.
