Hey! For starters, I’m not a writer and I barely know how to use choicescript, so all of this is a challenge for me. After reading Choice of Games for years, I’ve decided to make my own. I started the game Resurrect where you can play as a soldier, physician, scholar, or thief in a Medieval high-fantasy world. Some of the things it will include are romance, politics, fighting, and adventure. This game will have so much more but to keep the theme represented by my name I will leave it at that. Currently, It’s about (1%, .5 Chapters, 2k Words) done, and I plan on updating every few days. I’m open to all feedback and your thoughts on how the story will develop. As a side note, if some choices are missing during your play through it is because I still need to write them. I’m really happy to be here!
I am trying to finish the male arc first so that I dont get too confused. Sorry about not making it clear in my post that the incomplete paths are hidden.
Ok cool makes sense then. Well then do you plan to have an extensive list of weapons or are you going to limit it? Cause having a primary and secondary weapon slots different weapons compliment each other in the most weirdest of ways. Oh and one more thing, is there magic?
Some of the weapons that will be in the game are bows, crossbows, muskets, throwing knives, daggers, and a few more. I am trying to incorporate magic in a way that doesnt make it too overpowered.
Oh sweet!!! Hell yes! If possible can you incorporate a gun blade type weapon that can use bullets and or magic. I know it may sound overpowered but I’m sure you can balance it out some how.
I agree with the suggestion to split your paragraphs up. It’s quite hard to read a giant wall of text, especially in the first couple of pages with the city descriptions.
A couple of grammar errors. It says “lord Anthony” instead of “Lord Anthony” a couple of times. There’s also a few capital letters randomly in sentences but as a WIP totally get that happens.
Apart from that it seems interesting! The city description intrigued me a lot. Good luck with your project.
