I get an error when I want to pass with perception:
No, you’ll have to be smarter.
You tilt your head back, calculating.
You can do this. You’ve come this far.
And Durell? He won’t see you coming.
Error:
Convoy line 5990: bad label q1_screen
Little writing mistake (MC is female):
UNKNOWN: "No she won’t. You’ll initiate tribunal protocol. Pin she.
Should be Pin HER.
Another little writing mistake:
“We need to act now, or it’s all over. If she’s alive—if anyone sees she—everything we’ve done will collapse. I’ll be the one they blame, you understand!?”
Quite a bit of writing for only a few chapters, which is nifty. First, ill say I enjoy your writing, some of the descriptions you use are really good. Now, imma list a few things that ya may wanna take a looksie into.
You jump POVs A LOT without any indication. It isnt as bad, when its done after inputing a choice, and then the next screen is it. But, it happens a bunch in the middle of stuff; like in combat scenes.
I like having a decent amount of choices, but you may be putting a lot of work into stuff, that could be spent elsewhere. Example: When picking a Scar, i read a few went "Ooooh, some of these seem nifty. But then there were idk 8(?) Options, and without saying where the scar is, and some of them being “out there”, couldnt really think of what to pick.
A. More of this is, i think they were skin tones? Were “human”, for the most part, right? Idk, and some of them seemed to be the same thing, with just different flair. And some I couldn’t even imagine it describing a skin tone.
B. The clothes are cool sounding, I have zero clue what half of them are, though. And a bunch of them sound the same. Just with different fibers, or “tech”, that we dont have any way of knowing what it is yet.
C. I’m REALLY looking forward to the Blood Armor stuff, some of the looks sound cool. First sounded like a knight, one sounded like a Juggernaugt, and one like an Assassin. The others, idk.
Then 3. This may not actually be a “thing”, but i tried to pick the “Imma be ruthless” mental choices. That sound like they mean, youre just burn it all down and leave bodies in your wake. But, almost nothing was fatal. Just knocking people out. Which is fine! Some people aren’t comfortable writing a bunch of death scenes. Its at the moment a little confusing, though.
ANWAY, gonna be keeping a close look on this. I got good feelings about it!
What’s your highest Proficiency? (Not like it’ll be used against you or anything… ) Oh, you know… just curious. No pressure. It’s not like anyone’s watching or keeping track or anything like that. Just a harmless little question. Totally innocent. But between us—if things did go south, and all eyes were on you… which skill would you bet your life on? Which strength would keep you alive? No reason. Just asking.
Agility fits the main fighting style I tend to pick for my mc being capoeira and then I branch out into other fighting styles. While stealth seems to pair well with agility lol.
My mc has turned out to be a real McGyver type, so probably intelligence and engineering then charisma as those are his three strongest stats, aside from combat, which seems to get really high no matter what I do.
I love the dragon armor. I picture it looking like susanoo from blaze blue long wild hair and all. Im guessing its gets lighter the more we upgrade. Cant wait to get my dragon claws to complete it. Im goin for a battle loving monster who adept at stealth and stalking his prey but much prefers using spead and strength with his capoeira x muay thai fused style to overwhelm his prey.
Agility and engineering for me. The strength of the enemy attacks won’t matter if they don’t land and might even hurt themselves instead. I don’t need to be the strongest, I just need to outlast my opponent. Brute force isn’t always needed.
The engineering skill is literally a lifesaver for silent entrances on jobs with tech guarding everything. Especially useful against turrets that probably should have chewed u up. The convoy mission really shows useful it was. It also made the general boss fight easier understanding how his suit worked and used against him.
Should add skips to the chapters at the start of the IF with quick choice of important choices within, cause there’s a lot updates but they’re all broke the saves (at least for me) and skipping all of the text is quite painful and borderline impossible (again for me), which is good because these means there’s sizable amount of text and choices but not quite comfortable to play it the same again.
What’s the numeral equivalent of “high combat”, for example? Like 80?
Also i’m kind of confused on the time line. The MC fought in the variant war, which we know prolonged for 8 years. If they’re 18-23 now( Young Blood) does that mean the MC was 10-15 in the war? Or was that the flashback when they applied to the force and now they’re 26-31? If this is the case then the mummies (37-45~) are just dust lol
Any stealth scenario with my heavy ass MC just reminds me of this:
