Overlord has nothing to do with that and it isn’t based on your blood purity but on your level like a Shangtian has a 1 in 1 millon chances of procreating. It is still possible like how Ruo was born despite his mom and dad being Shangtian so he only had a 1 in 2 millon chances of being born

Not if it’s literally a one in a million shot. Even doing it on the daily that’s 2700 years on average to actually get a result.

Yeah that’s nowhere in the novel that says that a high level martial artist can’t procereate. I mean the demon queen is one of the most powerful Shangtian in existence and she has ( or had rather) two kids around the same age as the MC
They are probably arriving at that conclusion from certain scenarios in the game like the Su Clan that has a yearly holiday where they stop training and engage in intercourse in order to produce an heir though I think that’s because they are so obsessed with training to the point where they would forget to procreate otherwise lol and the author revealed that the MC father is somewhat infertile and that the MC is something of a miracle birth

Hmmm that’s seems really contradictory then to the events within the novel I mean the demon queen had two kids as a Shangtian and so did the leader of He Clan as he has both He Mei and He Gang and the time between when they had them is pretty close together as well.
Though I imagination if that’s the case there’s probably and alchemical concoction out there that solve that problem as well
Mei’s father only reached Shangtian recently.

The author wasn’t meaning to specify being shangtian was something that would affect procreation. He said we couldn’t procreate because he personally didn’t want to not because of the book.
I don’t know if he will change his mind but he already addressed this a long time ago.
