Yeah the childhood change is a really good one, it gives us insight on many neglected characters and made them more attachable to the reader like Wu Chao, can’t really have sympathy and love for him when all you get is a gift, parting words, and a huge but now we get to see his mistakes and how it affects us as we grow up. Lady Sha who’s just a glorified char creator npc is now an actual integral part of our life as she trains and protects us replacing Wu Ya as best as she can. and the Aunt herself who now exist in our life rather than being forgotten right as the prologue ends lol.
A good step in the right direction, it’s shaping up well and i’m glad it’s not in a development loop hell anymore
I’ve been a bit confused about something relating to clans. So if the mc leaves the Wu clan and joins the He clan, but kills the demon queen’s son and gets adopted by her, are you still going to benefit from the deal with the He clan or does it basically mean you left your own clan for no reason?
I believe that, in the end, the relationship with Mei will not develop as well as the others.
She’s manipulative, so it’s impossible to imagine her trusting anyone or falling in love.
I doubt that anyone who follows your route cares about this, but, in comparison, the other routes will certainly have a better ending… Or not, it’s just my opinion and guess, everything can change.
I think that “Yes Dad” option in the first screenshot needs some clarification whether you actually intend to follow through, or it’s strictly MC being a sarcastic dick and that’s a “no”. /s
