Like the premise enough is angsty as it is, now we have a lot of unresolved tension between them. Lord. Imagine all the guilt Az has been harboring these years, only to reunite with the MC but she doesn’t exactly remember (since all of them feel like dreams to her) AND am pretty sure once they get the time to rekindle anything plot happens that threatens to tears
them away from one another (again)

Someone give them a break to be happy omg

(Though the other RO’s are interesting but I do really like the potential of Az and Uriel’s romance)

Since Nephilim can live for thousands of years, they would be together for some time before she eventually passed away and was reborn into an Angel once more.

But remember, she may have once been Uriel, but she’s really her own person now… Just with eons of baggange lmao.

I would have to say so, yes.

Imagine this:
If you chose to go down the Azrael RO path, how would you feel if every time he looked at you, all he saw was Uriel?

Azrael’s journey will be one of forgetting the past to accept future and that even though the MC may look almost exactly like Uriel, she’s not truly her. She’s her own person with wants, dreams, and hopes.
Depending on how you play, many of these may align with Uriel, but I’m going to intentionally make her very, very different from him/her (Uriel).

And remember, in the 1800s/1900s, people weren’t very excepting of women in general (for thousands of years, really), so that’s something else you’ll have to waddle through. That’s the main reason I want to keep the MC locked as female.

Give me all the possibilities >:C I’m just very emotionally invested in character relationships (so character driven plots are very important to my well being)

So I really love the themes of choice and identity in stories

I love him lots now – or at least the possibility of him. Like I’m invested in the whole “in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, I’d find you and I’d choose you” sort of romances

(So guess who is a fan of AUs in fandom stuff because they essentially run on that logic)

So yes. Ruin my life with this :)) even if they don’t romantically end up together, friendship across lifetimes is beautiful too

I’m really hoping to have this be as character driven as possible. With as few must have stats as possible. The stats you do have will be more of fluff, than anything else. (How do people on the street see you? Low reputation? “Ugh, look at that chick. I’ve heard such bad things about her.” Along with the willingness to give you information on things later down the line if your reputation is high.)

I honestly have a hard time shaping a story around the stats, so I’d rather shape the stats around the story.

I can say that of all the Angels, that Azrael has been a big advocate on stopping the slaughtering of Nephilim. Him and Michael are two of the biggest advocates. While alive, Uriel was more of the type that pushed aside the Nephilim from her thoughts. Out of sight, out of mind.

She didn’t hunt them down, but she didn’t protect them either.

I’ll do my best hehe <3

So Azrael has been waiting for Uriel for who knows how long does that mean he knew she was reborn? It’s extremely rare for an archangel to do so right?

Also, will he really accept us instantly? I mean the MC may be Uriel’s next life but she’s not really Uriel. Won’t he be… disappointed in certain personality types. Or just disappointed we’re not a carbon-copy of Uriel, period.

It just seems to me he’s in for a lot of disappointment :grin: .

Ohh each of those new ROs is the best friend? They seem like they’re going to be important to the plot.

(You were born October 10th, 1871, the current year is 1889.)
For 18 years, yep! Since at the moment of Uriel’s death, s/he was reborn as the MC is Moscow, Russia.
And, being so close to Uriel, he was able to feel Uriel’s soul leave from her Angelic body. I believe this was more of a hope that she was reborn than the fear of her soul being lost forever.

I think going into it, he knows that being reborn means that his Uriel will be drastically different. Still, he holds onto the hope that maybe this time he’ll be able to protect her/him, AKA the MC.

Disappointment is the name of the game haha. Depending on how you play it, you can become Best Friends once more, lovers/partners, or simply be indifferent towards him.

Ashton is your best friend, while the other three you’ve yet to meet as of the beginning of the game.

EDIT;

I’m still on the fence about making Solomen a RO tbh. I see him more as the mentor type.

The sleep manipulation ability is sweeet! I can imagine a lot of fun we can have with it - we, the player. I’m sure the poor MC is sick of these visions ruining her night xD

Soo it’s pretty much confirmed our mother was a Nephilim. Was she perhaps an angel waiting to happen Nephilim or just a “normal” Nephilim?

((Also, if my questions are getting annoying pls don’t feel obligated to respond. I’m just curious but I can certainly wait for my answers to be given in the game itself :slight_smile: ))

I would say there was a lot of longingly wall staring haha, with maybe him going to different places and maybe trying to catch a glimpse of you. Such as visiting America, Africa, China, Russia. Too bad for the guy that you’ve been under his nose the whole time lol.

A good nights sleep would be rather nice, without seeing things that you don’t know are real or not XD

That’s correct. I cannot confirm or deny that your mother was or wasn’t reborn as an Angel. But I can say that she was not reborn from a deceased Angel that was reborn as a human/nephilim/fae.

Please! Ask away, I love answering your questions! You guys give me such good ideas and help me to mentally develope the characters more with said questions!

The irony is not lost and I feel this warrants lampshading (or at least a joke) :)) but gosh. This boy has it bad doesn’t he? If anything is it possible to see how their friendship at the very least unfolded?

GOOD. I love friendships as much as I do romance (though family feelings trump all of them tbh)

What I have to show atm lol. Keep in mind this dream probably wouldn’t happen till Chapter Two:

“Ya’ know, being created from nothing into something, while knowing nothing but knowing everything is a pain, Azrael.” the Angel sitting beside you says, complaining once more within the garden him and you rest and lounge in. Some are petitioning for naming the garden, Eden. Others for Lux, Sanctum, and even bloody “Garden of Gardens”, for Pete’s sake. Honestly, you couldn’t give two shits what name they decide on, so long as the endless debating over it would stop.
But then, the angels would simply find something else to debate and quarrel over. The whole lot of them were a bunch of Negative Nancies and Debbie Downers, you couldn’t help but think.

“-and then I said, listen, Gavreel, I like you, but I’m not sticking an apple up there. Do you know how unsanitary that would be? Plus it would be a waste of a good apple!” on and on the Angel drones. This and that. That and this. You feel as if you’re about to rip the hair from your head to keep your sanity.

OKAY! This is incredible! I’ve always been obsessed with angels so to see this story is like a dream! I loved the demo, and am now completley 100% invested in Azreal/MC because just like @squarelyblue how can you resist the “And i’d choose you; in a hundred lifetimes, in a hundred worlds, in any version of reality, i’d find you and i’d choose you”
