Sorry dev I really do think it a weakness in the games current content and I’m sure it’ll get better but no ro speaks to me aside from Best friend chan/kun and maybe Notjesus. That criticque aside what you have made is fun, inldulgent (especially in world building) and off times silly (cowgirl ninjas yum) so yeah romance feel kinda forced in parts sorta like an early 2010s game but the fact that’s my only major bug bear speaks volumes about everything else so keep on keeping on
Oh no worries I don’t disagree I’m just shitposting. Originally the game was going to start at the Trials so the ROs (except Guiren) were designed to be met there. When I rewound to add more backstory and setting introduction it turned into a larger endeavor than I expected so even when trying to fit the ROs into the narrative wherever I could, they still don’t show up enough.
Chapter 6 they talk to you a bit more but even then not enough. 7 and 8 should add some more
Honestly I feel the game is pretty well balanced so far in term of interactions, especially after playing other games where I don’t feel like I’m participating in the story at all outside of picking a RO to talk to every so often, with the ROs I don’t speak basically fading from existence.
Hey anon just wanted to ask, i noticed when i fought the grim and use the common poison to stab them, if your a swordsman you get exp for doing it, but when you do the cursed style or sacred style specific choices you don’t get anything, aside from that, how you doing man?
That choice does a bit of extra damage to decide if you kill it or simply endure the fight until help arrives. Akakiru get an instant kill due to their Style manifesting.
