First update of the rewrite. 7/29
Finished chapter 1. Havent made stats yet as im thinking about how to go about it.
Also giving Ariel slightly more screen time in the beginning of ch2
Not much to add except im pretty much updating every single day on cogdemos by having just this wip to focus on.
Edit: also thinking on having personality be choice based and not stat based. Like a stoic will always the bottom choice and charismatic be top or something like that.

Love it so far, but have a bit of feedback.
If you choose your avatar to be Nephilim. You get to choose black or white wings. Both options seem to pick the black wings option for you

I dont got alot rewrites left in me. I’m a perfectionist so there may be a couple but so far im satisfied with it.

With roanoa or jin. Roanoa will outlive your other romance anyway. Just like all the others asmodeus had.
Jin is a fuckboi who doesn’t care for love. Plus his life is shorter than most.

SECOND UPDATE OF THE REWRITE
Finished chapter 2 part 1. A total of 30k words without code
Part 2 will be action heavy with multiple perspectives. So it’s going to take longer to finish.
In the previous version, you just fought Nyarlathotep and a Hydra. This time, you’re facing Dagon, Mother Hydra, Empowered Klaus and if you did something wrong, Cthulhu too.
I’ve figured out the first half of the game and categorized it:
Chapter 1 & 2: The Unknown Arc / Ariel added to the group / Archdemon trigger added
Chapter 3 & 4: Slice of Life Arc / Roanoa added to the group / Sin Archdemon customization added /Class specializations added
Chapter 5 & 6: Green Shadows and Rabid Teeth (Orcs and beastkin) / Sora added to the group / Conclusion of Klaus
I’ll let you know about the second half of the game after chapter 3.
Edit: the action will be the same if you dont play as the mc. Otherwise asmodeus action scenes will be more meaty.

Asmodeus is omnipotent, Lazarus is omniscient and Abaddon is omnificent. This is after they ascend. Lazarus recently did.
Pre ascend, asmodeus is around Michael and Klaus
Post ascend, only Nyarlathotep
And yes, he’s nerfing himself to feel accomplished when overcoming difficulties. Also to fit in, otherwise mankind would think him god.
