In Choice of the Vampire Silas (love interest) once offered to teach my character to play the harmonica. What triggers him to make this offer? He has only done this once.

This happened to me once too. I was a German and started in St. Charles (is that the name?). I think if you pick “working on my art” once when making your character and then next few times before going to New Orleans, you get the option of learning the Harmonica because there’s one more choice of adding to your traits in that storyline (was that as confusing as it was to me?).
