What’s the difference between playing this demo on the forum and the beta version? Does the beta version has access to the rest of the game?
Yes.
Oh, well thanks in that case! I had no idea about the Jewish use of G-d so that’s cool, I wish it was explained in the story though I was literally blind on the Saul/Szaul thing, in the screenshot I shared it even states this so maybe I missed it being said about G-d lmao.
If I play again and find any other issues I’ll see about getting more screenshots.
How important are the weapons to the story? Should I pick the one whose description best lines up with my character’s personality, or can I pick one based on cool factor?
For example, the dagger says it represents a Garou’s dual roles as protectors of spirits and regular people. Sounds exactly like my character, except all the other weapons sound like much better options in terms of usefulness.
The sword seems potentially super out of place in modern setting, and the axe and machete seem to imply a callous or brutal nature.
Pushing a new build to both the demo and the beta fixing a number of bugs. v49214
Got caught in the update & had to restart Chapter 3. That’s when I noticed an error. I think it was there the first time, but I forgot to mention.
Anyway, you confront the concert promoter? Waverly? You talked Elton out of killing the guy. They scared him off and told him he had to leave a 4 state area. The guy took off & we were going to split the proceeds.
I check my phone at the next juncture & read, “…a couple hundred dollars, and all you had to do was watch a man die.” He didn’t die.
I took a screenshot but not sure how to share it.
The black furies can be accessed by doing podges quest to gain access to the shady part of town and once you do that you can go to the pawn shop and purchase a gorgon mask which I believe allows you to become a black furie.
The Gorgon mask doesn’t allow you to become a Black Fury. There’s a Gorgon statue in the temple in the barrows where you can go to pledge yourself as a Black Fury.
Ohh my bad thank you for the correction
@jasonstevanhill, since it’s come up a couple times so far in this thread, can you let us know how you’d like to receive feedback from people who haven’t been admitted to the beta and have caught typos and continuity errors in the demo?
@Songsmith here’s where you can send the screenshot.
Email to beta@choiceofgames.com pls.
I have never seen the Gorgon statue once, Ive seen it “mentioned” that its there, but have never had the option to ever intract with it. It mentions Uni, Hawk and Gorgon if i remember right.
Ive seen the other two as options, in every test run. For every other tribe too, ive at least “seen” how to join. So, I’ve been trying to get it with multiple builds. No such luck, though. So, I’m not sure if its just a me issue, something not actually possible or something that should be reported.
The statues of Unicorn and Hawk are in Nin’s woods. The statue of Gorgon is in a temple in Melodie’s barrows.
Hm, in there i think ive only ever seen the silver fang idol and shadow lord idol. Have you been able to join the fuires yourself?
I’d like to point out, that the Gorgon statue IS in fact mentioned when you go to the forest for the first time, not the barrows. And there’s no way to join them in either place, at least not in both the demo and the beta test I’m in.
That’s what i thought, i dont think you can join the Hart Guardians or what ever they’re called either. So, I’m not sure why they’re listed when asked what tribes you want to join. There’s something “similar” to it, as options that are there but can’t actually do. Is the job listings, with security and woodwork both not actually being doable.
I won’t say specifics, to not spoil. But, i dont understand why options that dont do anything are even there, unless its just for more side content to read, or if they somehow help boost your stats. Though, as far as I’m aware other than the first choices of your natures and auspice nothing boosts them other than gifts/training/form shifting.
I’ve noticed something odd about money. One check it’ll say I have plenty of money (over $1000). The very next check I am broke or near it but I haven’t spent any money. It’s weird.
@AletheiaKnights You can also find the gorgon statue in an antique shop in the urban decay/sprawl place.
I know next to nothing about WTA, so find it really hard to decide what … can’t remember the term … spirit gifts to go for. I really wish I had chosen interests in different tribes early on.
The Gorgon mask in the antique shop can’t be used to join the Black Furies.
There is a note in the code that says that the Black Furies and the Hart Guardians will be for the first dlc
For some reason when you get money most of the time that just means you get free time/exp. I don’t know if that’s just a weird system that the author came up with or that’s a thing from W5
