Werecat (Title is a work in progress.)

So then change the “secrets” stat to “perception”. It doesn’t need to have an opposed variable.

Edit: or “perception” vs “senses”

E.g. How much you rely on what you see/hear/etc (night vision, hearing this tiny sound, etc) compared to sensing something (this persons a wolf, my spider sense is tingly there must be danger about, etc)

They seem to be thematically the same thing though? Oh or wait did you mean 1 is supernatural senses, one is for sensing stuff in the real world? So if you’re too tuned into your sixth sense and spotting weird feelings you get, following your gut, sensing magical disturbances and the like, maybe even sensing emotions, (they say animals can) then you’re not as adept at using your concrete senses like your eyesight etc? Aha! Yeah that’s an interesting idea.

@VampiricPotato Please feel free to ignore me or shoo me off the thread. I’m busy procrastinating instead of working on my own project.

@Fairy

You are much better with words than I am. Yes that’s what I meant.

I have the same problem as you. I haven’t worked on my project in… Yeah that long.

I was thinking, Instead of supernatural sense telling you if someone is lying, it should be perception. This is for two reasons. 1) You can physically tell if someone is lying (eye twitch, nose flare, slight smile, etc). If your very perceptive you can catch the quick motion that tells them away. 2) Supernatural sense seems to over powered. This helps even it up. Try and keep them balanced.

My other thought (I know, how rare!) was this: when you finish the game, depending on the ending (if there will be multiple) you should give them a code, that changes what type of *cat* they can be. Much like that code for that new Japanese (?) game, in which it changes your character. This is mostly a selfish thought though, as I would LOVE! to play a Smilodon (my other (albeit extinct) animal of choice)

Cats…

@FairyGodfeather I am not saying tigers are not strong, they obviously are, but I don’t think that strength is what really defines them. I am not trying to be awkward but that is my veiw. :stuck_out_tongue:

@Kitty9 I don’t judge you at all everyone knows what defines tigers is Frosted Flakes :3

When I think of tigers I think of huge, powerful animals, that like swimming. I think of them as the strongest of the cats, and the ones with the most stamina too. I like tigers. I didn’t think you were trying to be awkward though. We’re all here because we love cats! Apart from those who like werecows. MOOO!

I think picking our type of cat will be fun. Like those “what type of cat are you” quizes. Hmm I wonder what type I am.

@2Ton Of course, but sadly I don’t think Tony is going to be featured in this game.
@FairyGodfeather I remember a little while someone used a quiz like that for another game so that you could define your character. And I don’t really think that werecows would last very long in this game… what with the tigers and all… :stuck_out_tongue:

My cousin is a werebus…

@Kitty9 Hahhaaa yeah. Werecow could be Weretiger’s favourite snackfood.

I will call my Were-Tiger Tony in your honour, @2Ton

@2Ton You have created something now. Tony shall be a permanent feature in this discussion from now on. Frankly I think he is pretty amazing as he is the only tiger I have ever heard of that can use a spoon. :stuck_out_tongue:

At least there’s no Tiggers in the conversation.

Boing boing boing *tigger bounces past the conversation*

What about the Nyan kind? I feel very excluded from the Cat family now…

Come join the party fellow cat lover

CATS!

Indeed

@VampiricPotato Are there going to be other Werecats and can we make Werewolf friends?

@trollhunter I tried for the werewolf friends thing(By turning ‘evil’(Helping Lupin)) though I did not get a yes or no
