I dreamed that Qenna could use his magic only when drunk and that his magic is the only thing keeping him from not getting sick and decay. When I read your comment, I was sure that I read this explanation, then I realised that it was a dream about me reading this explanation in the story.
Also, I wanted to say that I enjoy every characterās meeting with Narmer, and itās so cute to flirt with him.

Thatās because you are right! Qenna is never really drunk, but they need the booze for something. If you tried to heal them out of it, thenā¦ that would have some unexpected consequences, letās just say.

I long suspected Qenna is not nearly as drunk as they pretend to be, but now Iām really curious what they need the boose for. I originally assumed it was just to get people to underestimate them, but now youāve got me thinking thereās more to it.

Interesting. Man, moments like these make me wish I knew more Egyptian lore and mythology then what I do. Iām way more knowledgeable of Greek, Norse, and Japanese mythos.

Side note. No complaints with the Priest route. Except that even if I didnāt know the outcome, I would never ignore that many red flags at an event full of so many people. Iām a better safe then sorry type of person. My priest, Hasani, wanted to immediately go grab security when half of his ppl are replaced and weird unknown boxes are present.

Thatās why Iām giving you so many options to stop (: Iām trying to do it so that every option will give you a slightly different outcome, and Iām also trying to make every outcome equally interesting (hopefully I succeed). Although maybe I should warn youā¦ for the ceremony, there are no happy endings.

That was a surprise. We knew about one spirit in the thief route, two in the noble (my favourite so far) and now five or six in the priest route. I wonder what the guard route will know, all or none?

NEW UPDATE
This turned out to be a lot bigger work than I expected lol. But itās done! The whole priest origin is playable 
I also ended up adding a scene that I wanted to do in chapter 2, but I decided it fit a lot better for the priest instead. That scene takes place in the dungeons, and itāsā¦ a bit intense.
On that note, I updated the trigger warnings in the beginning of the game, please READ IT. (also, if you want anything added, feel free to send a message)
Whatās new:
- 18k words added to the priest origin, so that makes the whole game 169k words total
- the entire priest origin is playable, plus you can play the first scene of chapter 2
- I added a Codex to the Stats page! I tried to make it brief and on-point
- added 2 achievements to the priest route. One of them is a very interesting but hidden one. It needs very specific choices to activate, try to find it
- updated the trigger warnings
- added more people to the Relationships tab in the Stats page
- I fixed some bugs on the priest route
- lots of grammar/typo fixes (thanks @a_ghost )
The next step in development will be adding the skeleton of the captain of the guard origin. Iām honestly super excited to start writing it!! It will come out next Friday, with some greyed out choices first.
So, hopefully you like the new content, and send me feedback like usual Especially if you find some weird stuff, f.ex the text says that Tia died when she actually didnāt, and stuff like that.

First round, investigated and reported suspicious box contents immediately. Nothing to report wrong with that route. Read well and it seems our priest/ess has a little divine intervention of their own. 
Second round, I stopped the ritual right before the last option to stop. Found dungeon routeā¦

The demo finishes after the first scene of chapter 2, one page after you choose your characterās age! That there is an error, although Iām not sure why you are getting itā¦ I tried it again in my own browser and everything seemed fine Could it be that you are using an old save? Can you please try restarting the game, and go over from the start with the same choices to see if it happens again?
