Way Walkers: University3--suggestions and feedback

Thanks a ton guys. My overall goal with this sort of thing is to try to make games wider with more interesting perspectives that you didn’t necessarily need to enjoy the original games. :). If it works out, it also may be a route I can go down to make writing more CoG products after WWU3 is finally done.

@WayWalkerLeigh I’ve thought about it and yes, I suppose an “app purchase” for non-human race unlocks and probably would buy it… depending on the races. You just said no Clan (sadface), you mentioned Tazu earlier what about the other cannon races?

It’s would be all three inhuman races: Tazu, Mulian and Ki’ra.

I would be up for that! I must admit the very first time I was a bit disappointed that we were playing as a human but not one of those races. :zipper_mouth_face:

What is the race with the turtle shell? One of the duelists is one and “he makes a great punching bag”.

Hey, just wondering if the updates to WWU will come as a free update or will we have to rebuy the game? Also, on the subject of game packs and stuff, I would really love to be able to play a past life where the university is first being founded, or like a short origin story to the uni… That might be a bit much to do, but I would love to know how it came to fruition.

@FutbolDude21586 – that’d be the Aveana and they are from Casfeild, which isn’t one of the four starting countries.

@Spectrellium-- the new update is 90% editing and the addition of a few small scenes, with two larger scenes in both 1&2. It also allows for more gender options. Because the main purpose of it is to allow for more inclusivity for non-binary readers, I would never charge extra $ for it. So you’re getting all this extra content for free if you’ve already bought the game; though CoG itself has always felt the game itself was under priced, so base game prove might rise for new readers (haven’t decided yet)

As far as the origin story, I do think that’s a bit much to past-life out, but I’ll consider adding the story into an academics pack so u can learn about it.

@Hazuki yeah, I was kind of hoping we were going to be from some sort of magical race as well. But I suppose in the flashback (is that still a thing now? I haven’t been active for a while and need to catch up on +1000 posts ) we used to be some sort of mystical being and that’s why we are so strong with magic now? Oh Lord, help me I am so confused!

I love that! Especially a Ki’ra!

Uh, iirc we were still human but past Jun and our past life lived close to the Red lands. I think that’s why you think we were special. I have to play WWU1 again to make sure.

Maybe someone can correct me where I’m wrong? :joy:

I believe you’re speaking of the past-life regression planned for WW:U3, this time with Semryu. And yes, you are a full Ki’ra in that past-life, but getting a power is actually going to be based on the choices the MC makes to try and integrate the past self with the current self, and has nothing to do with the actual race

Wait, we were a Ki’ra too? … There’s going to be another past life scene?

Well, how intriguing.

Yes. There is a pretty big hint in the Nor’wah tales from the campfire scene.

didn’t exactly say that…or which one…but the groundwork for what’s gonna happen is there.

No wonder I’ve never seen it…

I’ve never played a Ki’ra-kin with a high charm… :disappointed_relieved:

you dont need a high charm to tell the story…only for it to be well-received. you can still read the stories themselves.

So Semryu was a Ki’ra in the past too?

Nope. Semryu was Clan.
