I did not mean that people can’t have hypocritical moments, I was just saying that depending on your choices in the game, Jun can become one of the meanest characters there. I understand that people have those moments and its why Jun in all their complexity is one of my favorite characters. I was just saying that I didn’t see the appeal of dating someone who can say that they believe in and have such a respect for purity and acts of good when they are capable of doing the most devious things.
But I asked for your point of view on why so many people kept urging Leigh to make Jun romancable for so many months now (has it been a year yet?) and you have told me so thank you.
I found 1 Sem fanfiction that apparently started right after you landed in the hospital in the first game and was told from Sem’s very guilty feeling perspective. Wasn’t that great in my opinion but at least something exists.
It’s also interesting to read about this game in the game section of TV Tropes.
Would the MC end up killing some characters if they follow more in the red path?
Where there be a point where Sem losses control and almost end up killing the MC or JUN?
And still out of every character in the story Jun is the one that scares me the most
In WWU 1, do you always die to the dragon spirit whilst with Illyia? I recall that there were points in the story earlier that you could die, but at the end? Also, is the Stat decrease random?
There is a way to avoid dying, but I don’t remember it, and it’s very specific. I’m pretty sure it had something to do with a high magic skill. And yes, the stat decrease is random, though there only four skills that can be affected (combat, agility, charisma, and intelligence).
Edit: It’s been a long time since I last played, so I don’t remember the names of the different Ways. Sorry.
In fairly certain the star decreases are random. And as for the dragon you need either a very high Rosin stat which is the magic stat or a a Montage stat which is kinda like the overall luck stat.
First off,I want to say that I really love the Waywalkers series of games. I feel like your writing and characters in combination with the worldbuiding makes it the one of the best fantasy CoGs I’ve played.
But it has its flaws and the biggest one is railroading. I understand that railroading is a part of every game, but it just feels so…blunt here. This is especially true in WW2. The zoo scene and the prison scene are the first things that come to mind.
But back to the zoo scene, I was trying and trying do everything I could to at least stall the beast so that help would come. My own character had finally managed energy balls. So,I thought I could at least stun the beast. No,I wound up dying and I learned that it was a scripted thing! So,I just think, then what the hell was the point of giving me choices if they don’t matter? No matter what you do,unless you join Sem you’ll die. The problem I have is that for my MC it wouldn’t make sense for her to do that. The main reason why back in WW1 she did it was 1) She’s has a certain curiosity for knowledge and 2) She really wanted a good grade in the history class. After she nearly died and got muscle damage for her troubles,it turned her off from helping Sem anymore and she never cared for him to start with. That’s really frustrating
Now,I understand why there’s penalties for coming back and why the MC is not the most badass thing there. I appreciate that the MC is NOT the only prodigy or badass there. It makes sense when you fight characters like Sem or Clay you’ll lose since they have a lot of experience in their skills and the MC is very much a newbie. Even if it’s irritation g at times.
I was reading all the stuff about semyru and marriage. Obviously I have to make it as awkward and funny as possible, no mercy xP. Gotta go all out lessss getttt marrriieeddd
Of course, but I author didn’t change his mind in the later comments (an I currently read 42/999 comments), then you can’t become full Red Follower, which is stupid, because that makes RED way meaningless. Most of the Ways we can choose is meaningless, 'cause the author want us to be good boys/girls, who discover his/her past lives. In that game there is pretty much only 3-5 more or less meaningful Ways from all 12 Ways. That’s the problem. So give us moooooooore Ways connected choices, in which those Ways REALLY matter!!! And option to became RED Follower, Montage inquisitor, healer, priest, necromancer/exorcist/ghosts summoner/ghost mediator, supreme artist, assassin/vampire/acrobat, gladiator/warrior, Mage (but with more awesome spells [not only magic ball]), model/someone who’s using charm/seducer, sage/Karma (as type of magic only for Feator) user, detective/professional reporter.
How entitled are you!? Don’t call the author who gave you this world stupid for not including what you want in their world. Red does give you extra scenes. The author plans an extra game about being a Red follower. You’re a child, a teen. In training. You’re not going to get very far but at your first job.
