Way Walkers: University3--suggestions and feedback

Nooo…Semryu is too cute.

Exactly. Would you risk falling to madness to try and save him or do you save yourself and cut all ties. Obviously if you are a crazy red sob you won’t care XD

Yes, Semryu is my probably my character’s best friend, not to mention lover in addition to being the hottest guy in the school. Considering my mc is a teenager who is head over heels in love with Sem, that means he’ll risk anything if there’s even the slightest chance of saving Sem, no matter the cost.

I like the way you think. You just gave me my favorite theory considering that topic. Just think about all the drama that will follow such a development. >:D

I wouldn’t call it drama cause drama doesn’t usually kill people XD But yeah, it would be a fun and interesting portion of the story. @WayWalkerLeigh will the third take place during the first half of second year or during the summer before it by chance?

It should be the rest of the second semester.

I suppose that would make the most sense :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah that’s a shame, perhaps when you start writing it’ll come back to you? I’ve found when writing that it gets the old brain neurons fired up and things resurface.

with normal novels i’d say yes, but with the complexity of WWU:3, it very hard to even know where to start-- the missing notebook contained the ruddy outline for discovering the truth behind jun, illyan and the mysterious vibration. It;s sadly not a thing i can write about to get the ideas back, as i dont even know what to start writing.

Aww…this was shaping up to be a great game…no more Semryu for me.
Does whittling down this thing means you’ll scrap things like gifts/the birthday and pranking Sem, in whatever slimmed down version, you do decide to make, if any?

I’m going to throw in a wild idea; a Guardian Angel Festival/Party/Contest/Appreciation Day!

Damn shame to hear that you lost your notes. I’ve never tried an undertaking like these awesome interactive novels but I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for you.

As someone who has very much enjoyed your other two games, I for one, am willing to wait as long as it takes for this to be completed to your satisfaction.

Take your time and focus on getting back in the ‘zone’, your loyal fans will wait.

Actually if I scale back it will be on the side of the illyan plotline and the fifty million endings I’d had planned. As far as the social things and romance, I don’t see any reason to pull back on that; if anything it makes sense to add in more class activities and such to make up for the width of lost content on the illyan side.

Who knows, mmaybe you’ll find your notebook again, I remember when I lost my drivers license once, I found it just after I reported it missing to the police and requested a new one. I know, not much of consolation, but still.

In any case it seems I shan’t lose hope just yet. After all you did move into a new home in the not so distant past, if I remember correctly.

Yes, don’t lose hope. I promise at the ABSOLUTE least I will take the content from WWU1&2, streamline it and publish it with the final ending as a novel. Or, failing that I’ll give the readers a few cameo appearances by WWU characters in the novels to tell u what happened to semryu and friends. I won’t let it be untouched, promise.

And yeah, we did move, though the notebook has been missing since well beforehand. There’s some concern it had been lost in the flood back in February when the water pipe burst. :frowning:

No, don’t do that it will mean designing a canon MC and I don’t think I could bear to read that, though i do get why it might make sense from a commercial point of view.
IF, there’s no third game I would rather that the ending and the various npc character’s fates were presented not in a novel, but more in an academic history textbook thesis sort of format. That way at least I’ll know the ending, while presenting it in such a format would omit most references to the romances and social stuff, as an academic trying to write objectively about the case decades or perhaps even centuries after the fact wouldn’t necessarily be interested in that, apart from some salient quotes.

That was my second plan, and will probably be the one that will get carried out no matter what; both the second and third Tazu Saga novels already have direct references to the events in WWU, hints as to what happened.

@WayWalkerLeigh

Sorry to hear that. Sounds rough. :fearful:

From here on, I would suggest typing up all of your notes, storing them on a flash drive, and keeping it somewhere safe and easily accessible. It’s what I do with my work.

Hell, I once knew a guy who kept a backup of his backup on a chain and wore it as a necklace just in case his house burned down when he was away. :stuck_out_tongue:

In theory that sounds awesome, but it would probably take me longer to transfer type the notes than to write the actual books. XD I have thousands of pages in notebooks.

I appreciate the support, though.
