I want to give you all an early explanation before I go off the grid.
Due to personal circumstances, I’ll be going on hiatus from all writing and updates. The wait for Velocity’s release has been a long one, and I need to focus on some real-life responsibilities in the meantime, specifically my current job to keep things stable on my end.
I want to be clear. I’m not quitting! I’m not abandoning Velocity, the sequel, or any of my other projects! I’m just pressing pause until things are more stable and I can get more time on my hands.
I’ll be back as soon as I can!(hopefully before Velocity releases) I promise!
Thank you all for your patience, your support, and for sticking with me through this journey. It genuinely means a lot!
I’m working on it atm. Can’t exactly say when but you can expect it by next week.
As for Claire you have to take the temple mission during chapter 1 and then go to the temple each intermission to interact with Claire. Once you interact with Claire enough there will be an option to recruit her into the mercenary company.
Welp. 11 votes so far and no one objecting to the cheat menu. I guess the writing is on the wall . I’ll add a cheat menu in the next update like with Velocity.
the Bandit staggers. . . You notice the Bandit is breathing heavily. . . the Bandit sweats profusely. . . the Bandit adopts an offensive stance. . .
the Bandit tumbles to the ground before you
The bandit fight is way too hard and tedious. I literally beat it with 1 health remaining, but it was very repetitive since he had 100 health, and I was only doing 4 damage each time. (9 damage with the berserk bonus.)
For this sort of game, I recommend putting a few very easy combat encounters at the early stage just to let the player get the hang of things and feel comfortable first.
#Help Abeline with her archery training. #Meditate
It is possible to do this with 0 or negative stamina, and it will become negative when you are done.
Loyce reaches into her sleeveless jacket and pulls out a pouch full of coins. She placed it on the table beside her

I am still stuck at the battle with the group of knights. After a lot of fighting, (the earlier bug when I could still attack a knight after killing him seems to be fixed), I was unable to select the attack options. It remained grayed out even as I stopped to catch my breath many times. I can still block an attack, but I was no longer able to attack no matter how much I tried to catch my breath.
I’m trying to load a save before the knight battle. Will give more when I’m done.
Hey there. Thanks for the detailed feedback! I really appreciate it.

That’s great advice. I’ll keep that in mind. It’s funny you say this, because someone else said that the fights were too easy . Originally they were all tedious but I tried to make it easier as you said, but I seems I missed this bandit fight.
Thanks for catching this! I didn’t have any stamina checks for these.
Is this the knight fight during the Priestess quest or during chapter two?
It’s during the priestess quest, I believe. The one where you stop her from being forced into doing something indecent, then scold the knight for lacking honor, then they attack. Off the top of my head.
Ok, I managed to finish chapter one. However, during the intermission segment, at one point, when I decided to rest and end the day, the game simply told me that ‘You keel over and pass out…’ and the game ended unceremoniously. I checked my stat screen and saw that my health was at -44%. Using the back button to rewind, visiting a physician, and ending the day still didn’t solve this problem. (I died after choosing to end the day, with -8% health.) You might need to check the code for the next day transitions, to see if there are any unexplained health deductions.
You weren’t fast enough! The giant haast eagle strikes you! You receive 0 damage! You avoid the worst of the attack.
Your Health: 97
Enemy Health: -37
The bandit staggers, then falls to the ground, unmoving. The others scatter into the alleys, not eager to join him.
After talking to the guildmaster multiple times for a quest, the game alternated between the slay bandit quest and the slay eagle quest. However, some of the ending screens were faulty, referencing the other enemy on both quests. (I sometimes got the ending above on both the bandit and eagle quest.)
Also, you should set health at 0 instead of letting it become negative.
I found a different band of knights, and also a bandit, when walking to town, which had the same issue. Repeatedly stopping to catch my breath many times didn’t allow me to fight.

You let the horse canter along the dirt path, preserving its energy.
The cloaked rider is 15 feet ahead. . .
“Get me closer, dammit!” Loyce’s raspy voice strains in the wind.

The stallion is moving strong. . .
#Push the horse to its limits! #Keep a steady pace! #Take a shortcut through the woods!
I was only able to select the middle option thoughout, and all it did was increase the horse’s stamina by 1 each time, exceeding the cap. I had something like 40/10 stamina when I caught up with the cloaked rider.
.*set frantz_strength +10 The black stallion gallops up the hill with urgency, battling the forces of gravity and a steep terrain.
Code typo in game.
Weapons degradation can be… annoying. It might be good to have an option to turn it off.
Some enemies who drink healing potions (like the Lead Knight) are still able to drink healing potions and get back in the fight after they have been killed. You might need to check the code to disable healing potions for dead enemies.
During the intermissions, your MC has to consistently eat food to survive. If they don’t eat after a while, they die of starvation. That’s most likely what happened lol.
Thanks! I’ll log this!

Logged this for fixing as well!
Much thanks! Logged!
Kinda tedious to go back and do this the way the code is set up, but this is good advice

Aw, you’re leaving already? Lol, just kidding. I really appreciate the feedback. I was not aware of a good number of these errors. You saved me a lot of headaches down the line.
