I find weird when they star cuestion the castellan loyalty for being foreigner when my mc was not even from the moon were the city is( like not even a option the say that)
This was fun. Victoria is a really interesting character. I hope we learn more about her going forward. The interplay between the internal class struggles and the external colonial struggle is interesting.
I also enjoyed some of the absurd options, like crying for mercy during the duel even though it lead to a game over. I appreciated how confused everyone was.
I like this. Im ready for more and im really interested in the main cast. Especially vicky and Ele. Im curious if we can get a 3 way romance goin. And how tall is Ele i picture her as being a short elf like 5’0 5’1. I find her really adorable and i like how if you treat her right the mc unconsciously confides in like what you expect a hairstylist to advice you about a war and bomb lmao
Saturnine was one of the more unique and interesting WIPs in here, so exploring a different corner of that universe from a different perspective is definitely exciting, as others have said.
Although I was surprised by the choice indicator/difficulty options. Saturnine was far from a stat heavy game, but I’m assuming this is gonna be different? Either way, godspeed with this project and Saturnine’s release.
Given that he’s the villain, you’ll certainly be able to try bending him over. Whether you’ll be successful is another matter.
Fair enough, I’ll probably expand that part once I get bored of writing the next chapter.
I’m not planning a full-on threesome, but you should be able to romance both characters at once. In a culture with vaguely greco-roman views on sexuality, getting freaky with your freedwoman doesn’t really qualify as cheating, so neither character would be particularly bothered by the MC fighting on two fronts.
I didn’t give it any thought tbh. There’s a short (heh) note in my TTRPG about elves being taller than humans on average, but that doesn’t mean much given how malnourished a normal person must be in this universe. 5’1’’ feels like a height Elvira could have, provided she’s not wearing heels at the moment.
Yup. I’m trying to lean more into the “game” aspect of Interactive Fiction this time around, write a story where difficulty is a real concept. I’m not entirely sure what I’m doing to be honest, but at least it’s something new.
There’s a bug with the save System sometimes when you load it doesn’t work. I went to stats and when i went back Game restarted. Other than that aside from a few typos this game is quite good
Very interesting start.
The Romance option so far piqued my curiousity too, not to mention the way MC could react or do is pretty fleshed out. Looking forward this one.

I pretty much want to see how the consort or concubine system gonna work on this one assuming we can actually do something about political marriage or love marriage in this.
Don’t hold your breath. If I include an option to marry one of the ROs (or any other characters) it will be near the end of the game, which may take me a year or more to reach. Right now, my priority is to flesh out all those characters the player may or may not marry, and these characters’ priority is to not die. Not exactly a great time for weddings.
Between you and me, I’m not sure what my writing style actually is. I didn’t adopt it consciously, it just sort of evolved over years of reading comedy fanfics because I was too cheap to buy an actual book. If someone asked me to describe it, I’d come up almost empty.
I suppose it’s… sardonic? Also full of typos and missing commas, but I’m not sure if that counts as a feature.
I think sardonic is a good descriptor. Of course it’s at least partially affected by this universe but there’s this sort of sarcastic and matter-of-fact description of the comical bleakness of everything, which I find fun. Yeah a gal just stabbed the guy in the throat who tried to steal from her, who failed because women don’t have pockets, and she was just shot by a guard for shits and giggles, and the guard just got struck by lightning from the World Engine. Completely unremarkable event, moving on. Same with the complete lack of reaction people have to the “I’m evil and I will actively make everyone’s life worse :)” choice, contrasted by their horror and halted applause at being even a little progressive. Just how straightforward and kinda grounded (as far as the characters; most aren’t larger than life) it all is, in spite of the general absurdity of everything and the grimdarkness, is enjoyable, and that’s all heavily informed by the prose.
It’s this exactly. The copy is filled with clever humor and imagery despite the terrible activities taking place, creating an entertaining dynamic that also emphasizes MC’s adaptability and, honestly, their trauma and said trauma’s normalization. The tone is wonderful and very fitting for the story you’ve woven so far!
