Thank you so much for your comment! I’ve been really working on making the family dynamic more fleshed out. And yes! I forgot to end the story at the end of chapter one since chapter two and three are kind of just rough drafts right now.

Updates!!!
Hello! Just wanted to share what I’ve been working on and whats new since my last update (5/02).
- Chapter 2 is almost half way done! Still feels a bit choppy to me but I am still working on how to make things work better.
- The stats screen has also experienced some minor changes, bigger ones coming soon.
- Minor changes to Chapter 1, adding details and changing some code

When it’s time to help out before heading to sea (storing food, sorting the maps, etc) I get to choose all the options which after checking the code is not supposed to be like that then after trying to select the last option after choosing everything else I get an error and can’t proceed. I think it’s because you forgot to add preptrip +1 value to the choices so that it proceed with the story when preptrip is = 2?

UPDATE!!
Just wanted to give a small update within a big chunk of time. I have been working diligently on chapter two coding, which turned out to be alot more difficult than expected. I feel as though I have little to show for the amount of time spent on it, BUT what I have written and coded should now be updated in dashingdon.
Other than just wanted to give a thank you for everyone who has read or is reading Voiceless <3

Found a bug when we can pick if we are listening or looking wistfully at the ocean
chaptertwo line 658: It is illegal to fall out of a *choice statement; you must *goto or *finish before the end of the indented block.

Small Update!
I have finished coding Chapter Two, now I just need to fill in all the writing that goes along with that. Ha ha ha…
I finished the second draft of the sea trip, I know it still needs a lot of work, but I am planning on completely finishing it by the end of next week.
I finished the first branch of exploring the island, which unlocks one of the long term career goals. I am still deciding if I want this branch to be the deciding factor (ie if you don’t make the right choices you can’t have this goal/skill) or if I want to give readers a second chance.
I plan on updating the story content this week, I want to have at least a rough draft of the other two branches before publishing them, even though this means you won’t be able to play the first completed branch yet.

Update!
All the branches in Chapter two are now uploaded!! Please let me know if there are any inconsistencies or random skips.
I will be working on finishing the final journey home, and making some changes to the stat screen/adding variables.
I have also added a chapter heading to chapter 2!
I have been making a lot of steady progress recently but there is still a long ways to go. Thank you for all the continued support <3
