And soon we shall take over the world! Mwahahaha!

Hey i have a question for everyone. What kind of person are you going to make your mc? Me personally will do two play throughs with one mc that would probably laugh his off as he burned down an orphanage because one of the orphans insulted him and my other would probably just donate some of his ill gotten gains to the orphanage and lecture the kid.

Fenris Lowell.

Raised by wolves, he eventually got driven away by the alpha and the death of his stepmother into the city, where he got accepted into The Scourge Of Brass Haven.

He was acquainted with all the team members, but the two who he has gotten the closest to were Honey (RO) and Hotshot (Best Friend).

He’ll most likely lean towards the “Hero” alignment. I’ve always had a thing for the good guys. And besides, the two people he’s closest to also lean on the good side of the morality scale.

Yeah, I’d say Hotshot and Honey are more good aligned, Viper and Wildcard are more villainous and Swift and Gadget are both really neutral.

That’s a really good question, I think I’ll make a poll for it at some point. As for me, personally, I generally like playing more neutral characters.

Yeeeeeeeeeees

My MC is a pragmatic villain (not burning down an orphanage because someone insulted them, but because they can make a profit out of it). Basically, they’ll do whatever helps them amass more power and wealth, be it good or bad.

Although burning down an orphanage sound very tempting…

Yes, they are one of the leading producers of (shudder) heroes.

this is why as a Villain you build them, Functioning orphanages make villains, burning them down makes heroes. If you build them it gives you a great Pr image allowing you to have a Heroic Public Image to mask your Evil self behind.

  1. Arrange to have the oprhanage burnt down, making sure it can’t be traced back to you.
  2. Heroically step in and save the orphans from the burning building (don’t forget your flame retardant clothing).
  3. Build a new, better orphanage in its place.
  4. Profit: Good public image and a load of orphans (who will, given the genre, become important people later on) in your debt.

Well my mc will aim to carefully cultivate the image of a fine and upstanding charitable young gentleman. After all as Churchill once said “it costs nothing to be polite”, particularly when you are in a business that involves killing.
Charity is part of the image and funding orphanages would both do wonders for his own conscience and allow him a steady stream of fresh recruits.

Which is why my mc will do what they accused Socrates and countless fine people throughout the ages of for real and corrupt the city’s youth. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yes, exactly you get it, funding orphanages tends to make you into a “pillar of the community”. If they’re not brutal, Dickensian hellholes or worse the kids there will most likely become either normal citizens or be open to joining our organization as a relatively happy childhood tends to decrease the chance of them becoming “heroes” with a chip on their shoulder.
Of course my mc does think of himself as a “hero” exactly because he had a rotten childhood of literal slavery and malnutrition.

My MC is going to create the image of an honorable, and chivalrous man, while actually being anything but that.
