I love how we have to copy the link and use it in the search, that’s a cool little add. I don’t think I’ve come across an IF that’s taken the ‘interactive’ in Interactive fiction to that level. Lol yes, I know it’s such a simple thing, but i’m a big child, so I find it overly enjoyable.

Really enjoyed the demo! Played as a tube baby and was pleasantly surprised by how often the claws came up. How much should we expect powers to synergize with one another versus being redundant? For example, shark teeth and tiger claws or bat ears and lyrebird vocal cords?

Ty! If you ever think certain power combos feel redundant, that’s a shortcoming on my part! I try to keep in mind different sets of abilities and how they might work in conjunction. For example, cyborgs with both a neurocomputer and ocular lenses can do reverse-image searches of things they see.
Your initial power selection will also influence what kind of stronger abilities you mutate later on. Someone picking both claws and teeth can expect a physical, aggressive power bonus in midgame.
If there’s ever a moment where you wish two powers could have worked in synch, but the option isn’t there, let me know!

Hey just found this game and love it…but what does the underweb thing do, is it like for cheat codes or something?

The underweb search bar does a few things! It’s a mini puzzle to proceed to the next part of the game (solution: copy & paste the link from Caroline’s email), and it also has some easter eggs including a future cheat menu.

hi! finally getting around to reading this and it’s so good. fyi on the welcome letter it says “dissapoint” instead of “disappoint,” and on the stats screen it says “Your hair is blah blah blah. You wear it Your skin is” so it’s missing a variable for how you wear your hair. but those are the only typos i’ve found so far 
so excited to continue reading.

It looks like there’s a few errors in that welcome letter… turns out notepad++ spell check doesn’t do words in all caps 
totally outing my spelling ability lol. And you caught that some of the hair style variables are inconsistent, I went through and fixed those.
