Currently you get $20,000 if you got one of the endings where the S.R.T. aren’t closed down and $10,000 if you get one of the ones where it is shut down.
Then depending on whether Alice is alive and if you saved her fiance you get an additional $5,000.
You can spend money on improving those areas and you have to spend money on wages and paying damages
You earn money for completing cases and can gain extra money in a select few if you are willing to make an extra effort I.e capturing the Unnatural involved instead of killing it or vice versa you might have a case where you are asked not to hurt them but someone offers you money to kill them.
edit: think ive got rid of that bug now. Just be aware its currently episode 2 I’m working on so more bugs may pop up. its passing quicktest and over 2000 instances of randomtest so far.
Currently the second protagonist (sMC) gets scenes at the end of each episode with the first two being in 3rd person as choices affected them are made while the player is still the MC. Then a part of episode two and from episode three onwards the player ends each episode having full control over the sMC. How would you prefer the switch to happen?
I’m thinking marking each switch as follows…
*page_break Meanwhile…
But worry it’ll not be clear enough and will confuse the reader.
A friend suggested instead of having a secondary protagonist being in the same playthrough have them actually be the MC for a New Game. Which might work so players can either continue with their Azure or start season two as the knight of the cross protagonist.
The biggest issue with that is they wouldn’t have the links for some of the bigger story plot threads so would mean I’d have to write alternative paths specifically for the sMC.
Well I’d recommend doing the switch between the chapters and potentially impacting a case in the chapter after the events depending on what goes down in the chapter. But as @No_This_Is_Patrick said above depends on how important the sMC is to the story in all honesty I could see this being a fun new character to team up with the MC or even take charge of a branch of SC INC down the line.
I think if you just have a the meanwhile coupled with a page break should work. I mean that’s how it’s done in the Become Mortal Wip and it was pretty easy to follow. Another thing that could help is having one set character that’s always around the sMC so it’s just another reminder were not the MC at that moment.
The sMC isn’t critical to the main plotline they are more of a side-story although they might become more linked later and I did intend to have them cross paths with the main MC.
You can see the currents choices that effect sMC in the current version (they are the ones referring to the body you find at the end of episode one)
Their story will be short like with the child MC but one at the end of each episode and each tied together with their own plot thread.
Writing a fight involving an Alpha werewolf and a few members of his pack. Currently working on the gun options [Pull the trigger, Fire a warning shot and Fire at one of the other werewolves]
However as I write the scene it occured to me would anyone actually target one of the other werewolves when obviously an Alpha werewolf would be the biggest threat? Maybe it’d be better as [Shoot to kill, Shoot to wound and Fire a warning shot]
Shooting another wolf could potentially show the alpha you mean boss. Like you want that wolf to remain alpha so you can control said back. Demoralize the alpha sortaspeak
Well… there were many movies where protagonist actually shot the henchman instead of the Antagonist, a sort of warning to the main antagonist ? whatever the reason, that seems to be a choice for MC to decide …
You can design the fight where one of the beta wolfs were attempting to flank the protagonist - in which case, firing at the Alpha or firing at the flanker both become legitimate choices with (potential) consequences.
