UnNatural - A supernatural horror game - editing complete, beta testing over

@NocturnalStillness how do i pm people? O.o

@TheDragon click on their name and you should see the option to message them

Wow making vampires feral… thats a big turnoff for me.

@Cloudian sorry to hear that. I hope the other monsters can keep you interested.

And by feral I mean they are all about their thirst they can still play with their food but it will always end it by killing the victim. They are no ‘nice’ vamps in unnatural.

will we see any sentient zombies?

You know, I haven’t had the chance to sit down and play this one, but I just started and I want you to know it’s very good. I like the episodic, tv-show feel. I’ll give better feedback when I play further on, but it’s a great so far.

@kaosorer

Yes IF you’ve made a certain choice :wink:

@Farside

Glad you’re enjoying it :slight_smile:

I would love to be a beta tester if you need one. :smiley:

Something got me thinking, how did the first vampire came ???

(not to do with this but got picture with own name created my self)

I found a spelling error. " You pack a few daus worth of clothes into your suitcase."
Daus should be days.

Last question until episode 5. were you born a good writer, did you practice or both? :smiley:

Wow. This is great writing!

@vampierkid222

You’ll get to play the complete game before the closed beta.

@P0RT3R

Ironically the first vampire was a natural occurrence. You’ll learn more in episode 4 when talking to the fae elders.

@12lexy12

Well spotted I’ll fix it.

@kaosorer

I was born with a passion to read and write so I do both. Even poor writing is still writing, you write and you learn. Eventually you find a niche you prefer, in my case it was horror, then you write stories in that genre. In between you write things outside your niche, to keep refining your ability, I have written science-fiction and fantasy stories too it helps. Thanks for the compliment!

@Rolav

Thanks for the compliment!

Is my guy in yet?

@Nocturnal_Stillness , Thank you and you’re welcome. I can only write sci fi and at best a 1000 words full of BS

@kaosorer keep at it the more you do it the better you can get at it.

@Nocturnal_Stillness while im glad that your not Twilitizing(yea its a word…erm…well in.my vocabulary it is o.o) the vamps i kinda feel the classic vampire elements are missing here,such as the certain air of elegance and refinement most carry,their smooth silver tounged interactions,i understand some vampires are more beastial in nature than others but as humans vampires also have various emotions,goals,wants,addictions etc. I feel you’ve represented them in a more primal fashion,if so then your doing a great job with representing vampires the way you intended… still LOVE the story and cant wait for more though if not trying for the primal feel then you could do a bit better with the way you present them.Either way great story so far can’t wait for more :slight_smile:

Exactly thats the kind of vampire I like. A being capable of reason and intellect. If it didn’t have those qualities then it’d be as mindless as a werewolve, mostly driven by base instincts. Vampires are creatures of the dark, masters of manipulation and adaptation, they blend in with their prey(humans) so to feed and not raise suspension and bring down the wrath of angry mobs.

@TheDragon @Cloudian

Thank you both for your comments, it pleases me to point out that the vampires you have actually gotten to see aren’t all my vampires are.

Vampire family killer - You find her caressing your dead brother after feeding on him.

Vampire in S.R.T/ Case C - both have been kept in captivity so are quite pissed off when you find them.

While the vampires are meant to be “primal” I was trying to refer to the fact they are driven by their hunger rather than their emotions/goals, all they want is the blood, that is their addiction. However the older vampires (out of the three you can meet so far the vampire who can kill your vampire is the oldest of the three) have more control over that desire and will have more of the ‘classic vampiric elements’.

I’ll end my post by saying that Vampires are very “Elitist” in nature, they are proud and believe they are better than the other unnaturals due to the fact only a few ‘chosen’ individuals are ‘worthy’ of becoming one.
