Nope no crashes and i like the choice to evolve your powers

I can’t wait for the next update! :)(:

@TheDragon

Technically its devolving your power, returning it to its original state.

@SpiderGirl

Did your error get fixed? (ie did you get to the start of episode 4?)

@Nocturnal_Stillness
Yes.

@everyone

A bit of background information for you. One of the three Azure powers "Letvir Vatra’ started life as an ability for a character in a story called ā€œLost Descendantā€. The actual story got a couple of chapters and revisions. Before the idea was shelved for the time being in 2009.

A friend drew me a few pictures of the heroine, including a piece showing off the Letvir Vatra power.

if i try to get my azure powers back, will i lose my shade, form and focus?

@kaosorer

Yes they are replaced by angelus, letvir vatra and venator.

What do those abilities do?

Angelus is what you see your mom use turns one of your wings into a thin blade of light.
***
Venator uses a wing to briefly nullify pain letting you go just a little bit further.
***
Letvir Vatra turns a wing into embers of flame which you can manipulate

Here is the drawing of it

***
Unlike shade you don’t give up humanity to increase its power. Azure power is dictated by the number of wings you have (maximum of 6)

those powers sound awesome

do we get wings over time or by doing certain missions

@Fujin

Glad you think so :slight_smile:

@Matteller

Bit of both, you start off with one wing, then you ever gain a new wing over time but you can do certain missions which will ā€˜force’ a wing to appear (sometimes it’ll be a temporary ā€œpower upā€ others will cause a permanent one)

is the denise scene in ywt?

Well yea but since the original powers are more badass and the shade is like a new but in my opinion inferior form of your original power i looked at it as evolving…idk though but as long as you keep the story great I’m good either way :3 @Nocturnal_Stillness

I personally love the Shade, I’ve always loved powers that come at some form of a cost. Insanity is especially fun. >:-)

In all seriousness though, I’m really appreciative of having a choice in the matter, instead of just evolving our powers to the original.

I haven’t experienced this Azure stuff yet, but it does seem like Shade is more useful. Form let’s you make blades of shade, or anything else you want so it just seems like a more useful version of Angelus. Focus seems like a more useful version of Venator since it does all sorts of things. Finally, that stealth one I can’t remember the name of is well… stealth. Which is quite useful for stealth… Of course you can’t make flames, but that seems like hardly a tradeoff. I suppose the humanity loss is the main thing.

@Talon5505

Not yet.

@TheDragon

They each have their pros and cons hopefully I can make both appealing.

@Toa_Onarax

Yeah that choice is important, everyone will have preferences.

@Shoelip

You pointed out one of the pros of Shade it is more versatile plus offers a more stealthy option although you can still choose a stealth option without cloak.

@everyone

I’m still working on the idea but both shade and azure will be refined in episode 4.

Question for everyone.

Azure powers tend to be more powerful than Shade powers (which are more versatile). Because of this I am currently considering coming up with a limiter so it doesn’t become OP. So basically every wing lets you use three techniques before you have to let the power recover (which will be between either a case or an episode).

For example 1 wing = 3 uses, 2 wings = 6 uses, 3 wings =9 uses etc

@Nocturnal_Stillness I think that you got a pretty good ratio already side note good job on the game

do the wings actually look like wings? I mean like are they attached to the mc or do you summon them when you want to use them?
