@Aznxa Lol, why would you want it to effect the relationship with your partner. thats not a good thing at all.
Like make your partner more nervous of you when your less human or something
why that just makes it harder for your partners to like you or even keep liking you, specially after all the work the MC puts in to get them to trust and like him.
Doesnât that make things more interesting though, the game should get more difficult, after all life itself can be difficult at times.
By the way, the new game is looking awesome @Nocturnal_Stillness
No thatâs not more interesting, thatâs the kind of stuff that makes me yell *fuck* and pound my desk. Seeing all my suave and smooth moves go down the drain with my romance interest and friends. Plus if they really are the MC friends they would trust the MC and stay by him even if he gets super powerful. It should be the MCâs actions and words that effect the MCâs relationships.
If I went down that route Iâd have to do a serious character cull as Iâd want your partners reaction to be unique to who that is so itâd be better have several well thought out characters than loads of similar ones.
If theyâre true friends your rapport wouldnât take too much of hit, but seeing as their all monster hunters, the closer you get to be something similar to a monster, the more likely certain characters are to reject you.
I feel that having your humanity impact your rapport would make things more realistic. Some characters would be affected by it more than others as well.
Thatâs how Iâd do it.
Craig or Alice and possibly Ashley would be more accepting of you, Lakota definitely would be(well until he learnt what you are lol)
However Victor and Austin would more than likely try to kill you.
Lakota is my fav person out of all of them.
Thatâs sounds good, itâll definitely be another interesting spin in the game.
Shouldnât the MC be able to win the favor and loyalty of the team and prove himself to them so that they donât despise him for what hes evolving into, i mean shouldnât it be possible to win over them.
Weâre not saying he canât, but at the same time the game should remain realistic.
In real life you canât please everyone, and many people will be prejudiced towards you for things not necessarily in your control.
Remember, many of these people hate monsters, they did after all join a force that kills or captures them. If youâre becoming a monster, youâre becoming the thing they hate, and realistically atleast a few people will also hate you.
True but charisma can be a powerful things. People will always have their differences but iâve met some people who i had huge differences with but i couldnât help liking them.
Charisma will only get you so far, and thereâs a big difference between having differences with people and just being outright hated.
A difference can be worked through, hatred through prejudice is not nearly as simple. If someone really hates you just because of what you are, they will tend to just zone you out, so it doesnât matter how good your charisma is.
I donât think the word youâre looking for is ârealistic.â This is a game about werewolves and vampires.
Test bump
@Shoelip Just because a game as supernatural elements doesnât mean that a characterâs motivations should be unrealistic. In any fantasy novel you read or movie you watch, characters always react realistically to their situation and in character.
Yay its back
Finally have some free time to read Unnatural. Liking the direction itâs taking and the additions to the first two episodes since the last time I read it.
I did find an error. In Episode 3, I just got into Unit Gamma, told them I think Craig should join and received a message
set gamma true
Or something to that effect â you just forgot to add * before set, so it displayed the code.
