Looking good so far I can’t wait to play the finished version
When I play the game on the link above, once I reach the page that they present me with the option to get someone promoted along with myself, I only have the choice to get Mark and no one else…
I had the same poblem just a hunch what opperating systen do u use vista, xp ect
The promotion bit is glitched atm same as the unit choice ive been put in alpha but the game followed the beta path.
Let me know if you find any other issues

I think I’ve found the cause for the promotion and unit choice errors. I will be recommencing work on the game over the weekend.

I found an error when you’re in the hospital and ask how Mark was doing. Also, Ashley says, “Don’t worry, she’s fine” or something along those lines. I’m a little concerned over the ‘she’ in there.
I’ll look into that. Looks like it set a variable wrong at that point.
Fixed that error. There was a 1 in the variable name which linked to the wrong one.
@everyone I’m considering having the option of letting the player read the news at the end of each episode (you can read one story per episode and each episode will have three stories to choose from and each story falls into one of three catergories. A) episode specific - these are only available in one episode B) general - will be available until you read it and finally C) discover - these are rare and only appear when conditions are met. Each newstory will offer background, world info and possible info on future cases.
If I did go this way I’ll give an example of the three stories in the pilot episode

I found an error when Sarah ask’s you for help in the soccer match if you chose the option to help her as a friend it says “error bad label match” or something like that 
The news story thing sounds interesting.
I’ve just added the first news choice at the end of the pilot
but just realised I can’t do a new choice at the end of episode 1 due to what happens but there will be another news choice at the end of episode 2 (currently working on the vampire case)

Noticed a slight glitch when i went to report to beta Im friends with mark but the lady said my name and Craig even though he didn’t join the SRT

fixed - the glitch was caused because I coded it so if you become friends with Craig/Alice and they end up in the same college, you end up meeting the person who you meet if they don’t end up in the same college so I’ve got a npc1 variable then a npc4 variable for the extra friend, I just forget to set Mark/Barbara to become npc1 if Craig/Alice aren’t around.
In the hospital, when I ask for other’s well beings and request for Mark’s, there’s an error, line 186 or 189, I can’t recall.
