UnNatural - A supernatural horror game - editing complete, beta testing over

No denying it. I just expecting for someone to start calling me “monkey” at any some point in the game.

I’ve fixed the indent issue. Sergei isn’t a Zombie, but something else. He used the reanimation ritual while he was still alive so it didn’t work like it does for an animator. Regarding commas at the end of sentences if you notice any in normal sentences let me know. But when it comes to dialogue I was taught it goes like this…

“This is wrong,” he said. or “This is wrong.” (if it isn’t followed by he said or something else.

Although its been 15 years since I was at school and that might have changed. I’ll look into it.

@Nocturnal_Stillness
Awesome. It goes through now. And later when facing Craig and chose to let him get ready (I think) this came up:

line 826: increasing indent not allowed, expected 3 was 6

I’d guess that it brought up a domino effect to what seems like indentation inconsistency in the txt. :frowning:

As for the comma thing, I very much agree with the format in your example. However I was referring more to something like this:

"I can't believe you cheated!" Gabriel says shocked,
"A win is a win," you reply flatly.

The second line is okay. The first line is as if you had something else to finish it up based on some condition which, in my replay, wasn’t met - I would probably not assume this if I didn’t write in CS myself.

Pretty sure I saw quite a few of these, if not many, during earlier playthroughs. They are scattered throughout the episodes unfortunately. I might come back and post here when I see some more.

Edit
Actually as in this post http://www.choiceofgames.com/forum/discussion/comment/91242#Comment_91242 you can see like three lines ending with comma. They don’t look intentional because you did it correctly with the rest of the scene.

Ah well spotted I’ll sort em out no problem :slight_smile:

fixed the indentation again. Not sure how they went wrong as worked fine during the beta test. Must have gone wrong when I got my new pc. Will sort commas out tomorrow.

@Nocturnal_Stillness Assuming my character had a child, that was inhuman, would he/she have Shade powers or Azure powers?

The MC and their brother would have been 50/50 chance. A child would have 25% chance and they would have azure unless you did what your mom did to them.

You mean bound it to the shadows? Can you bind it to anything?

@Kaosorer_6

Your Mother shatters your soul chain that keeps your soul inside you, she then tried to effectively cut out the Azure part of your soul, but of course the power you awoke mutated instead of vanishing like she expected.

@FcA

Right, I’ve just spent the past hour going through Episodes 1-6 and replacing those blasted commas and putting full stops when necessary. If you spot any more let me know!

@Nocturnal_Stillness How does it become shade after mutating?

Your wings shattered but didn’t disperse instead there are absorbed into the shadows (the opposite of the azure powers which are photo-kinetic in nature)

It can mutate into anything light-related?

That sounds philosophical though it is straightforward. Also, I see.

When you remove the light all thats left is the dark.

So, how do azure wings look like, angel wings or sort of like ethereal wings that are less complicated in shape?

Ethereal angel wings.

Seems fancy to have. What is the limit of wings an azure can have?

Six wings.
