UnNatural - A supernatural horror game - editing complete, beta testing over

@Nocturnal_Stillness, while playing in unit alpha, on the first mission, I chose “ask about werewolves” and I think there’s a sentence missing in the scene. I’ve copied and paste the scene to point this out:

“What can you tell me about werewolves?” you ask.

“It depends on whether they are a true werewolf or a lycanthrope,” David replies,

“What do you mean?” asks Craig,

“Simple, use bronze bullets if its the latter, or silver ones if its the former,” Victor says."

“What do you mean ‘contain’?” asks Craig,

“He means we go in and shoot the place up to distract the beasts while someone else sneaks round the back to steal the glory,” Victor pipes up from the driver’s seat.

“Not quite, we’ve still got a couple of hours daylight left so they will be in human form. We’re going to convince them to come back to base with us, we’ve got authorization to use force if needed.”

The location of the werewolf pack is a shanty town about an hour from the park where the murders take place so it takes Victor an hour to get to the park and then another hour to actually locate the ramshackle village.

You all climb out the van and David motions for you to ready your gun. You un-holster your Browning HP as do the others, except for Victor who pulls out a sawn-off shotgun.

If you read the fourth and fifth sentences, you find it makes no sense.

PS: Sorry for pasting the whole scene for just one small problem

Hmm yeah there does seem like something is missing. I’ll fix that.

Hello again.

Down to the last two romances (Lakota and Scarlet) then refining the ending and epilogues (adding a bit more lore/historical goodness).

It’s progressing well I am happy to report :slight_smile:

Yay, Scarlet! Gotta love that heterochromic badass.

When you’re you’re an alpha is there any way to save David?

@Kaosorer_6

Yes she is!

@undead

If you’re referring to the scene in Episode 2 then yes you can save him.

Can you give me what stats you need to save him from the werewolves or is it random

@undead

You need an awareness >0

Hello,

First, I would like to thank you for giving us the chance to play your game.

I think I found a bug, and would like to report it. It happens in “season one”, during the interview with the woman for the team selection of my next job :

"Eventually your name is called and you head to the next room. Inside, a woman sits at a desk. She motions for you to sit, which you do. You answer the questions as honestly as you can. Your interview lasts about an hour.

The woman stares at her notes and you notice she looks surprised. She reveals that with your ability you could go straight into Gamma. You smile but she quickly shoots you down when she adds you have to have at least a year experience in either Alpha or Beta first. So she lets you choose which Unit most interests you…"

The error says : “dl.dropboxusercontent.com
line 721: Invalid indent ? Expected an #option here, not *set”

I cannot seem to proceed from here on, I always turn around. Is there something I am doing wrong, or should I just restart and try again ?

I apologize for my poor English, and thank you again ^.^

@Nissa

It was an error thank you. I have fixed it now. So if you replay the game it should work :slight_smile:

That was very fast, and it works now, thank you!

You’re welcome!

I know I sound like a new but how do you raise the awareness stat.

@undead

There are many ways. During the test at the beginning choose “read each question carefully”, When you miss the buss choose “I’ll make my own way”, when speaking to Aunt and Uncle you can use “set up the winning goal” or “did an experiment in science”, when you meet Ren you can choose “Sense through the shadows”.

Thank you. I will try that now.

@undead

you need 1 to spot him and get to shoot the attacker if you have 2 you can take the attacker down without killing him.

Getting this twice after I chose to fight dirty vs Gabriel on my replay:

line 715: increasing indent not allowed, expected 3 was 6

I made it to Gamma previously and opted for Azure. Ren was cute and all but it made me feel more like an Alex Mercer (of the game Prototype) with the black tendrils and everything that’s made of it. Not that it’s a bad design, I just like the idea for my character to go back to the roots - and the wings. Well, it’s probably the wings that got me.

I could have missed the description but isn’t Sergei a zombie (with a brain, apparently) who reanimated himself? It feels a little weird when I had him coming along for the Stephanie job, imagining chunks of rotten flesh sitting next to me in the car en route to the target’s location. Oh and he had a gun in his hand too.

May I also advise fixing all the nasty commas at the end of the sentences, mostly among the dialogue as far as I noticed. It might be rather laborious considering the amount of content you already have so far, but as it currently is it’s not doing justice to what could otherwise be not only good but great experience.

Actually the whole shadow powers reminded me of the darkness.They really should have made a another one.

Oh yes that too, what was the hero’s name, Jackie Estacado? I only played it for a few hours on Xbox360. I would say though that being uber original wouldn’t really be of concern at this point; it works pretty okay as it is now.
